What a gift to new families and babies! I am a professional who works with postpartum families, and I see how isolation in the early months of mothering leads to increased stress and perinatal mood disorders. Community Supported Postpartum groups help mothers/parents connect with themselves, their babies, and each other, offering a much-needed resource to our community.

When I became a mother myself, I took Kerry's class series and it was a beautiful foundation of connection; I still maintain many friendships formed in our circle as our littles grow big. The wisdom from many of the guest speakers has served me well over the years.

Kerry Ingram is a compassionate, nurturing, skilled facilitator of circle. The wise women she has come speak to the groups help mamas feel resourced and empowered in their incredibly important role of raising the next generation. We need more of this in the world!

Kerry and her beautiful Mothering arts group has been an incredible gift in my postpartum journey with my first child. To land in such an accepting, nurturing environment just a few short weeks after birth has helped me find my new self as a mom. We sing songs, play games, Kerry brings in a tiny teaching moment each week, she invites visiting wise women to share their knowledge and resources with us, and mostly we get to be in community with other moms. The community aspect for me is the most valuable resource, as otherwise this journey can be so overwhelming and lonely. With these moms and with the consistency of seeing each other each week, I feel nourished, uplifted and supported. Thank you Kerry for this incredible gift that you offer new moms in their first year. I'm already signed up for the next series!

This program was such an important part of my journey as a new mom. I made some of my closest friendships in Kerry's circles, and I am forever grateful for that. Kerry has so much knowledge and inspiration to share with her community and has built an invaluable resource in Mothering Arts. All new moms should be so lucky to spend their postpartum year with Kerry!

Kerry's groups are a great way to connect with other mamas in the community and create nourishing rituals in the home with a new baby. I'm so grateful I was able to join, I looked forward to the classes every week. Everything we learned set me up to have a lot more support in the first year postpartum. Beyond Grateful.

I feel so honored to have found Kerry and Mothering Arts! This group of mamas has nourished my soul and provided resources for me and my daughter in our first season together that have built a strong foundation for our connection and relationship with each other. Connecting with other mothers and babies is invaluable and so nurturing. Even at three months my daughter loves to be around the other babies! I would say it’s never too early or late in the first year to be a part of a Mothering Arts Circle. And we are definitely continuing for the next season!

Karry created a magical space to meet, hear and being heard for new moms. I am a first time mom, and the topics she brought out during the meetings, songs and games with the little ones really help to enter the motherhood world with a feeling that you are not alone on this journey. Thank you Kerry for creating this space for new and not new moms!

Mothering Arts has been one of the best choices I have made coming into motherhood. Kerry has created such a powerful circle of community for mothers to feel seen, heard and loved. Knowing that I am not alone on this journey has empowered me to know I got this and when I don’t, I have trusted mom friends I can go to for support. What is so special is feeling like I have created relationships that I know will last many years. I highly recommend this for every mother.

Having your first baby when you’re thousands of miles away from your family can be rough. I am eternally grateful to the friend that recommended I check out mothering arts, because Kerry and the group quickly became like a second family to me in my fourth trimester. I learned how to better take care of myself while taking care of my baby, I made some friends who I’m still close with years later, and I appreciated the serenity and wisdom I gained every week. Not to mention Kerry’s delicious little snacks 🙂
