My first experience with Community Health NW Florida was accompanying my granddaughter for her visit. I’m medical personnel for 50 years. All the medical professionals from the reception area to the Exam Room were polite, professional and thorough. Both my granddaughter and I were very comfortable with her caregivers and are grateful for their excellent care. Our appointment took less than an hour.

I have had way too many bad experiences at this place. Every single person who works here acts like they don't wanna work here, including everyone in the back actually dealing with patients. Every single time I've gone in here, I've been forgotten about in my room. I've tried to put it past them assuming they are too busy but even when they aren't I am still miraculously forgotten about and taken too long to get to. Recently I've been dealing with a raging UTI due to my job. You can imagine how in pain and upset I am. So I go in on a Saturday. They close at 6 and I know this. However I arrive at 5:05 and despite there being no one in there, I am still told that they are "at capacity". For who exactly? Where is everyone that's supposed to be holding up this capacity? She didn't even ask me if my issue would've taken long or not. All I wanted was a UTI test, prescription filled out, even if I couldn't get it that day it doesn't matter, and then leave. But no they just denied me. I was too irate to deal with anyone at this point so I left. But to everyone working here I genuinely hope they never get front desk, nursing, or pharmacist jobs ever again. I hope you find work elsewhere because y'all are too busy kiking and cutting it up to pay attention to your patients. I genuinely have been forgotten about because these nurses won't stop yapping to each other about nothing. It's never them talking about work. Never. Not to mention this has been happening for too long EVERYWHERE that treats patients, including MAJOR HOSPITALS. Find ppl who can do the right thing and not IGNORE YOUR PATIENTS. Or just shut it all down all together at this point. I have an Aunt with cancer, and she still can't get treated properly due to this weird nurse culture, and due to doctors being misinformed and ignorant of their patients symptoms. WE ARE TIRED OF NOT GETTING TREATED PROPERLY!! It can't be that hard to hire the right people, it really can't.

I honestly don’t understand all the bad reviews? It had me SCARED to come in here but this was my first time and the ladies at the front desk were so sweet and helpful. The nurses (Brittney and the man w a sleeve lol) were also very sweet and helped figure out what I needed to get better. Thank you guys for caring!! It is beyond appreciated <3

It was a nice place We had to go there to get checked for strep because unfortunately my little boy tested positive the day before. There were only a few people in the waiting room they attended to us relatively quickly got us all tested all seen all taken care of very professional nice clean place if you unfortunately happen to end up sick and need somewhere to go I would suggest stopping by there at least my experience there was good especially under the circumstances. I never do like having to go to the doctor but sometimes it's necessary. Check us out @EternalEscapades on YouTube. 😎👑❤️👍🏼

Great walk-in service. Had to visit here after another urgent care because they didn’t diagnose or treat my issue just told me ibuprofen. Went here and found out I had tendinitis. This facility made sure to be thorough and get me out of there as quick and efficiently as possible.

I was literally laughed at when the nurse walked out of the room and she shared my private medical information with another employees. Breaking Hippa laws and show that they think people’s mental health and well being is a joke. There is no reason for any so call medical professional to act in a way they a client would feel embarrassed to talk about what there concerns are. When a so called medical professional has spoken with a client they absolutely should not go and joke about the client to other coworkers and make fun of them and the clients issues.

I want to start this review by stating that I have had really positive experiences with CHNWF walk-in portion of the clinic. The nursing staff was friendly, the front desk people were helpful with my sliding scale paperwork, and I got to see Ms. Suri once when she was on the walk-in side and she was AMAZING.
I am underinsured and the walk in is a great resource to the community.
I would like to share though a recent experience that I had when I made an appointment to see a physician
I had made an appointment back in January to be seen, I was booked for March 15 to see an NP for some time in the afternoon.
This past Sunday around 7am I received a text that my appointment had been canceled. There was no explanation and I have been waiting for this appointment for over 8 weeks. Shortly thereafter, I received an automated response that I was rebooked for today in the AM. I didn't want to deal with the hassle of trying to rebook/get back on a waiting list, so I confirmed and showed up for my appointment today that I did not schedule.
I completed all of my check in online, checked in at the front desk, confirmed all my information was current, and then I waited for an entire hour for my appointment.
I was seen by a nurse/aid who didn't ID herself, didn't speak to me or give me any instructions, didn't tell me my temp or BP, and told me that I would be seen eventually.

I use this resource because healthcare is expensive, I have a very unpredictable income, but I made an appointment and I don't think it's right to not be seen in a timely manner. I understand that all patients have the right to be seen - but at the detriment of the health of the other patients its not right.

I'm very happy for the person before me that I could hear through the wall getting a very long hour plus visit with the doctor I was waiting to see - but I had to take time off of work to make this appointment.
After waiting an hour past my appointment time with no indication of how much longer I could be waiting, I left my exam room to find a nurse and let them know that I was so sorry, but we were going to have to reschedule. It was about lunchtime at this point and there was absolutely no one at the nurses station. I eventually left after finding no one to alert/help me.
Unfortunately after this experience CHNWF is not a resource that I can see myself ever using again, and I would warn anyone thinking about going there to consider the extreme wait times beforehand.

Drama filled always laughing and acting childish instead of being professional at the front desk…this place cancels appointments and then it’s a headache to get another appointment. Make sure you call patients to reschedule new appointments. I call multiple times to get an appointment. They just put you on hold!!! Stop playing with people time and health. We need real professionals to check us in and out, also answer the phones for questions and making appointments… this place needs to fire and rehire people!! It’s not the walk in side… the main side.
