Speaking strictly on the rehabilitation wing, this is an undeniably incompetent and dangerous place for you, family, or friends to be admitted to. When you are not sitting in your soiled garments, the staffs inability to route calls and messages will negatively affect communication with pharmacy, doctor, family and more.

Nurses will hang up on you if you advocate reasonably for family members. They will leave you on hold out of spite, after your issue is "hot potatoed" between several people that require you to re-explain your request from square one. You will spend hours on the phone trying to simply get a message to a nurse practitioner, requiring you to escalate, using all of your focus and energy on simply getting communication flowing.

They will try to keep your family members here and declare them unfit to leave, all the while not challenging them to improve, leaving them to languish - as a sedentary and doomed individual will ultimately accrue more cash for a for-profit hospital.

I come from a lifetime of being admitted to hospitals, clinics, specialists, and medical centers due to chronic health issues - I've never once seen this level of disorganization and simultaneous apathy in a medical center.

Look into their 2021 wrongful death lawsuit if you need convincing to avoid this place at all costs. I am not convinced their staff are working to wipe that slate clean, as the same level of negligence, stubbornness, and lack of critical empathy seem to echo in it's halls.

TL;DR: don't go here.

Hello, I read some of these reviews and I have to say. I never experienced any of this myself. I have taken both my daughter's there 2 and 5. They have done the absolute best job. The nurses have been so sweet to them and treated them with the best care. I have called to follow up on some test that have been done. I was not hung up on. Roxy should be a pediatrics nurse my daughter will forever remember her gentle care. Alot of you need to understand we are small underfunded county. Some of these issues I read on should of been handled by a bigger hospital. The funding is unfortunately not there. Dr. Brown is just a straight forward person some people can't handle that. She has a job to do, they are trained medical professionals they can't sit there and be sad for you. They are caring for 20 other patients. Some of these comments are seriously like who raised you.

I was in excruciating pain due to an undiagnosed illness. I came in the ER screaming for help. I couldn't do anything by writhe in pain. The staff understood and got me help as quickly as possible. The staff was understanding, professional, and respected me as a human being. I ended up being air lifted to a different hospital but will forever be grateful for Colusa Medical Center. As as a partial African American woman, you hear horror stories about staff mistreating us. I was grateful for their work ethic and believe it gave me hope to keep pushing through to my recovery

I give no stars. This is the worst place ever. With limited exception, the nurses and staff members could care less about their patients.
Dr. Veronica is a horrible doctor and doesn't listen to patient concerns. She barely spends a moment with her patients. The lack of compassion towards the patients is unacceptable. The food is similar to dog food and makes you feel nauseous. You are ignored when asking to speak to someone in a certain department, ie nutrition, physical therapy. They are clueless regarding outside resources discharge plan and contradictory with information. You can't believe what you are told because nothing is correct or consistent. Many things are broken and lack maintenance.
Patients constantly screaming for help and no one offers any comfort. I would never send a loved one for care at this facility. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The doctor, Veronica, and most nurses should choose a different profession, they are not fit to be caregivers. This place should be shut down. The only time broken English is spoken is when speaking to a patient.

I've had good experiences from past and recent visits at the ER . The nurses & ER techs have treated me well each visit, & the receptionist also registered me as soon as I got there she is awesome. One con about the visits is the waiting time for results, it could take hours, 2 maybe 3hrs depending the situation.

I’ve had numerous great experiences in the ER. Thank you all, well done.
That being said, do not let your loved ones be admitted to this hospital. The nurses are incompetent and very rude. They don’t even know correct procedures when someone passes. I would be happy to share more details if anyone there cares

I went in with a major head injury from a fall. The doctor and nurse in the ER did nothing, they looked at the cut on my forehead, put some glue on it, and ignored my concerns that it was worse than a simple cut. They didn't even inform me to follow up with my Doctor or if I could take something like aspirin.

Followed up with my doctor anyway, she did X-rays. Turns out I have a broken nose, shattered eye socket, an a massive brain injury. All could have been addressed during my initial visit to the ER.

Please, for your own safety, do not go to this hospital. It was the biggest mistake I have made.

During the pandemic a dear friend was in your facility. Your staff were kind and patient with us. It was hard on him to have to be there. And hard on me to not be able to come in and sit with him. You guys did well accommodating our needs within your restrictions. Thank you. It's hard to believe 2 years have passed. From your facility my friend was sent to Sacramento for a little over a week. I was able to take him home with hospice care. He was at home surrounded by those who loved him for a week and four hours and passed peacefully. Thank you again. You were appreciated greatly!
