Urgent care is the one and only way to be seen by a physician! For more modest health issues an appointment should be scheduled with your primary physician. This appointment is usually 2 months from the time you call. Then sometime along the line the physician leaves and you have to schedule a new appointment with the new physician. Then the physician has some private issue that prevents him/her from working that day and another new appointment has to be scheduled 2 month down the line. By the time you get to see a physician you are either cured by some other means or dead.

Extremely unprofessional. It’s all very rushed. Doctor was condescending and had no sympathy for my case. She asked if I was ready to close my case. However, due to the gravity of what occurred and for my peace of mind. I wanted to get lab work and exams to ensure my health is fine. Not to just be told verbally I’m fine. They had no prior knowledge of the type of case. So just to be told I was fine verbally was not enough. I am being referred somewhere else. I definitely don’t recommend this place. DO NOT go here if you are a new patient. The Collier Urgent Care located on US 41 Park Shore. They charged a $500.00 new patient fee on a Worker's Comp visit. That is an obscene amount, a total money grab. The injured worker did have his WC Claim paperwork. Worker's Comp declined to pay the extortion fee charged. The employee is being billed for the $500.00.

he doctors are ABSOLUTELY amazing, like stitch my finger back together through my nail kind of good, they always treats my little one with respect and dignity…..

The two missing stars are because the front desk is nearly impossible to communicate with and extremely rude. We had a mixup with our insurance, and I was trying to explain what was going on and they just were so callous, cold, and argumentative….

The insurance mix up was not on our end btw.

I gave them a second chance because the doctors are so incredible. I don’t think I’ll be returning here. It’s super sad because we really really love the doctors.

Needed quick care today so we could continue on with our vacation uninterrupted. Stopped here, taking a chance that it would be quick. Excellent service from everyone! The front desk gal was great, along with the nurse tech and Doctor! We were in and out within 1/2 hour! Also they had the antibiotic on site for purchase as well which was a big time saver and no hassle at all! They also accepted our health insurance! Great place!

On Friday Jan 20th I took my wife into this Med Center to treat an internal infection. We were greeted warmly by front office and the nurses. Dr. Rivaherrera MD absolutely treated her with respect and kindness. This was especially important because we are on vacation! Thank you Collier Team very much!

At first I contacted the office through their website to ask about writing a prescription. I received a response from Dr. Abood within an hour. He continued to answer my questions over a 24 hour period.
I went to the office the next day. The front desk staff was very pleasant and were able to get me in an exam room, with a nurse within 20 minutes.
I am sorry I didn't get her name, but the nurse was as good as it gets, as a person and a health care professional. She explained what they could do for me, but would NOT charge my credit card unless I agreed. She added, if I couldn't get into my regular doctor, I could come back later and complete the visit.

I had a very bad experience here at this clinic. The lady that helped me at first “seemed nice” just to get me to say okay to her asking for personal info from my insurance adjuster. When I showed up they said the copay would be $50 at the most. I was in a car accident with insurance to pay for it. Right before I walked back to be checked out I asked the front desk “how much exactly would that be?” Now she says it’s $280. I was standing right there while the front desk lady was on my cell phone with the insurance agent and from what I was hearing sounded like he told her I was to not pay anything for the visit that they would bill my insurance. Why $280? Because of my deductible. Well NORMALLY they send a bill to the insurance and then they pay but since I gave her permission to talk with my adjuster they “justified” the extra money they were charging me out of pocket. This is a very bad business practice and the manager barely could keep her cool when I called her out on it. Her last words were, “well this is not a hospital.” All about money not about care. It is an urgent care. I would not recommend to go there or if you do, don’t give any non needed personal info they WILL use it against you. I do not wish to have other have this kind of experience.
