Choosing a psychologist is a stressful experience, especially after the less-than-ideal encounter with the previous psychologist that my child met when she applied with Mensa organizations. It can be challenging to trust another professional with such an important assessment, but I'm so glad that we chose Dr. Conway. When we sought Dr. Conway for the IQ test for my daughter's admission for her school, we immediately knew that she was the right person. My daughter and I were anxious at first, but moment we stepped into her office, we felt an incredible sense of comfort, and she welcomed us warmly and made us truly at ease. When the test began, Dr. Conway didn't rush through it hastily, but rather she meticulously attended each part. The entire process from the testing took about little less than 2 hours. Dr. Conway didn't waste our time at all, and she was able to provide the results on the same day of the test. Overall, it was a truely positive experience.

I really can't thank Dr. Conway enough for her insight and all of the help for our family. She has been wonderful to work with, and has made major strides with our daughter's anxiety. Dr. Conway's flexible approach allowed her to conduct remote sessions with us, over zoom, since that was what made us feel most comfortable during the pandemic. She has been a great resource by connecting our family to helpful educational services. Our family unit has been running a lot smoother as a result of our sessions. When it came time to find help for our son, Dr. Conway delivered another successful connection with a qualified member from her team to help him. If you, or your child, need a qualified therapist I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Conway (or her team). I am very thankful that after 7 months of weekly therapy sessions, my daughter is doing very well and we are now able to wind down services but appreciate that fact that Dr. Conway is only a phone/video call away.

Amazing!!! We cannot say enough about Dr. Karen Conway.. We have seen a huge difference over the past year with our child. Dr. Conway has also helped our teen develop great coping mechanism. I strongly recommend her, she is personable and easy to talk with. Overall wonderful.

Karen Conway is a game changer! My 11 year old was quite depressed and emotionally upside down on his confidence 6 months ago. It was leading to anger issues and sadly just a very unhappy kid.

Now 6 months later with weekly sessions, he understands how to better express his frustration which has minimize anger issues tremendously! Karen has taught him how to highlight his ups and navigate his downs. Also, How to navigate between divorce parents and different parenting styles.

Words don’t really describe how much Karen has had an such a positive impact on my son’s emotionally well being so far. She was also available to see my son in person or via zoom, which made a huge difference since
Covid had all of us in isolation.

My son leaves his sessions skipping and smiling relieved how much better he feels after his sessions with Karen. What more can a parent ask for knowing your child is becoming emotionally healthier and stronger?

I originally was referred to Dr. Conway by my pediatrician for testing for my 8 yr old son when his aggression and difficulties with peers and caregivers seemed out of control. After requesting help from a number of therapists, teachers, and doctors, Dr Conway was finally able to properly diagnose him so he could receive the treatment he needed and I'm thrilled to say that he is now thriving. Dr Conway has given my son (and the rest of our family) peace of mind after a very long and painful journey. Her compassion combined with expertise in her field has been a lifesaver, and there is no one I trust more with the emotional health of my children.

Today my son started college. A year and some months after he dropped out of private high school and was diagnosed with autism and mental health issues. We were in a state of crisis from which I couldn't see an off ramp. We worked with Karen who got our son to Destinations (not an easy sell), got him to regular therapy and got us all as a family working with each other instead of against each other.
