New client. Waited 45 minutes before seeing the dentist. Hygienist spent one minute probing my gums then stated she could not clean my teeth and I needed an extraction. I already had a full comprehensive exam with full mouth X-rays 3 months earlier at my previous dentist, which I loved but they stopped accepting my insurance. I emailed a copy of my X-rays while waiting. The dentist didn’t review them or look in my mouth. Something just did not seem right so I left and have scheduled an appointment with a dentist one of my coworkers recommended. Now I know why this office gets 1.5 stars on Yelp. Office is dated. Definitely do not recommend.

I received excellent care from Dr. Choi and his staff. It is obvious that he is very knowledgeable and experienced, and I feel confident in his ability to treat my issues. They looked into my insurance to see if what I needed was covered and I appreciated that. Everyone was friendly and helpful and I don't have any reservations about returning.

Yeah... Absolutely DO NOT go here. I have scheduled an appointment 2 times just for them to tell me it isn't on the books. Then they tell me the dentist is in with no appointments but THAT DENTIST WON'T SEE PEOPLE FOR APPOINTMENTS! They will only do telehealth dentistry for patients for appointments. Dentists are there to cash in on emergencies only. Why scheduled me for a cleaning and dentist appointment if you can't keep your books straight and on a day that no hygienists are there? The place is sketchy looking
They send you messages confirming your appointments only to say you can't be seen.

Dr Choi and Yessi are really great. They are fun and very professional. I have had extensive work done and everything came out perfect. They are very caring and make sure that I am comfortable and not pain. I highly recommend this dental office.

I did not have to wait. Everything was explained before the procedure was started. They always made me feel that I was important and not just another client. They also checked with me to see if I felt comfortable . Dr. Choi was able to complete both the right and left side uppers. He was great and the assistants were always ready for the next step. They all knew what to do and were very efficient.

My first visit at Coast Dental in N Fort Myers, Fl today . The visit was good, for going to the dentist that is. My dental technician Lorena was the best. During my x rays she did everything to make me comfortable when some spots hurt in my mouth trying to get the films set up in my mouth to take the pictures. She gave great advise on procedures to possibly think about, and she set up my cleaning is only a few days away.
I would of rated Coast Dental a 5 for my visit but the Proposed Treatment Plan for my next visit had me paying more than my insurance would be and lots of work for me. After many phone calls to my insurance to verify what I actually would or would not be paying was more work for me than the dentists billing department. It's mostly worked out now. Oh, one last thing, instead of being called by my name from the receptionist when I omitted to fill out one sheet of my new patient paperwork she (the receptionist) addressed me as "Hey you" from her glass window as to get my attention to finish it.
I reacted politely and responded "me" and said my name.
This showed lack of customer service experience and interaction with patients made me personally feel a lack of professionalism on her part.
I don't hold this all against Coast Dental but the worker herself. Especially when it comes to addressing the public in her position as the first person a patient meets and speaks too. S
he is representing their company. Over all I'm still looking forward to my 1st cleaning appointment soon.

Absolutely atrocious. I went in and was told my X-rays were not covered, so I had to pay over $200 for them. Then during the exam I was told I had bone loss and very deep pockets that required a deep cleaning. It was going to cost me over $1k and the hygienist was trying to convince me to pay over $500 for a periodontal kit to help keep my teeth healthy. Luckily I decided to get a second opinion and the new dental office gave me free x rays because Coast Dental never actually emailed them over and I was told that my teeth look really good and there is absolutely no bone loss, deep pockets or even gingivitis. You also can't even see a dentist to do an exam because it's just a video chat with one. Coast Dental is a scam and just wants your money. Let's see how long it takes them to refund my money since my x rays were actually covered by my insurance.
