I needed a key duplicated and after 3 attempts to copy the original key, the manager Sam, actually drove to see the door lock personally, so he could find a way to get me a duplicate that worked. He took his lunch break to help me with a $2.50 key.
Always such incredible customer service at Ace Hardware in Cloverdale! Kudos to Will and Jason as well. Such a helpful staff.

The store had the items I needed but stock was low and I couldn't get the quantity required for the project. The older man who helped me locate the items was great. What turned me off was the female cashier who interrupted me as I tried to explain something to her. She pretty much rolled her eyes out loud at me like she couldn't care less. She'd benefit from a refresher course in respectful listening, key to outstanding customer service.

Great for items you need on the fly. Still not quite as competitive as Home Depot but the service at Ace seems to be better. They usually search you out to see if assistance is needed instead of the reverse. Makes for a better experience overall 🙂

Been here a few times with my good ol Mum to do some basic shopping for household goods like paint supplies, caulking materials, fittings, drill bits, etc., and we've found everything we've needed every time ive been in with her so far. The employees are helpful and more than willing to take you around the store to help you with what you need to find. Fair prices for a local place. Great stop and go hardware store especially with the massive parking lot.
