I come to get my blood work done every month to this location for years.I love the staff they are always so friendly and professional. I never had a problem before with the front desk, but TODAY was the first time. This guy (asian) NEW for me because last month was another person on charge. He’s In front desk, letting pass walkings instead of taking care of the people with appointments first. He has no care, I told him my appointment was at 10am it’s 10:35 and you guys still not calling. he just say “ I GOT YOU IN “ I wait 50 more minutes and they still not calling me in. I had to walk out since I had another doctor appointment coming up.
Don’t get me wrong, I would totally understand if they were short staff or system went down or any other issue that it’s out of hand, But not the case.

My last visit, to the rainbow location, I encountered unprofessional/rude staff. They took walk ins before me, I was there an hour. Then they complained out loud about people who arrived after 3 pm as they all want to go home on time. It’s also been 10 days and I still do not have routine blood work back yet. Avoid this place!

I haven't had bloodwork done in years, mainly because I don't have insurance and it makes me feel anxious but my doctor said I needed to since it has been years. He gave me paperwork for this facility and set me up an appointment. I was reading reviews and was a bit worried because most of the reviews weren't positive, but when I got there there wasn't any line the ladies were nice and I was quickly in and out. The ladies upfront were even nice enough to inform me that this company gives an 80% discount for non-insured customers if they pay upfront which brought my total to $76 compared to what wouldve been over $400 or more elsewhere. It was still a bit much out of my pocket but for the amount of test I was getting I was sureprised in a good way.
I saw someone complained about the touchpad, which I don't like because I got confused with entering my name, but I just didn't see it was asking for the first name only and then the last name after. Over all though, this place is clean the ladies are nice, and even during my draw the lady who drew me was kind enough to comfort me and talk me through the whole ordeel. They said they both are likely to stay here unless their boss said otherwise, but for sure I will definitely be coming back here if I need more done.

I don't know about you, but I'm getting dizzy writing about this CPL Lab located at 6295 South Rainbow Blvd. It's like Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hide every time I go. I never have a clue what's going to happen. I know that people at CPL Labs (recently purchased by Sonic Health, Australia) are rarely the same. I think the company moves them around from one location to another every day or week, which I believe is the wrong way to do things. However, that's their decision to make, not mine.

In my last review, I raised my stars for this location; today, I have to lower them again. First, I don't feel like this CPL operates under the proper COVID 19 protocol. I believe each facility is left to its own devices without specific guidance from corporate. Why would you force dozens, maybe hundreds, of people to sign in on a "TOUCH" pad? Today the sanitizer was full. A couple of weeks ago it was empty. I don't want to touch something that's been touched by a hundred or more different fingers without it first being wiped off by the office staff. I don't know if the guy before me picked his nose, or worse, and I'm touching that? Secondly, you have to sit in seats that are not cleaned after each use. Restaurants wipe their seats down; why not a laboratory of all places? If you don't sit in the warm chair the staff gets annoyed. You are then forced to wait for 20 (or more) minutes before someone will tell you that your name is in the system. What a colossal waste of my time.

And now for the absolute kicker. Someone has been reading mine and other reviews because when I went to take a picture of the receptionists not wearing gloves (no faces), I was scolded by a terse receptionist, "you're not allowed to record in here." She then pointed to the wall where I couldn't have seen what she was pointing to if I had a telescope. If they are doing things the right way why prohibit recording? Such recordings or pictures will bode well for them. Well, look at my past photos, and you can easily see why. Therefore, it is easier to prohibit picture-taking than it is to fix what you're doing wrong. I'm afraid this is the corporate way.

All in all, I'm giving this place two-stars and not quite sure why. In proofreading my writing, I ask myself why not a single star? My response; in the hopes, someone at CPL will get the message.

been going to this branch since a few years before the pandemic started and it has always been a quick in and out experience. no appointment ever needed, i just show up first thing in the morning and be out in less than 15 minutes on each visit. for the most part, lobby and bathroom are always in neat condition, my interaction with the front desk and the phlebotomist are quite to the point and efficient. never a problem.

The front desk agent Arsi and not sure the name of the other woman working. They were so rude (tone of voice being loud and condescending) and unhelpful to anyone coming up front to check in. I think the first one might be training but that’s not an excuse. There are patients who are not the best at English and they didn’t even try to make an effort to say it another way for them to understand. They’d just get louder and repeat themselves. It’s a small office. It can get embarrassing for some. I myself couldn’t find the confirmation email and when I asked for help, I was just told to check my email again and then started doing something else. It’s not our fault that you don’t like your jobs. Complain to your company and don’t take it out on us. Getting bloodwork isn’t something any of us want to do either. Definitely going somewhere else next time.

The only reason why I’m giving this place 2 stars is because there was a male Phlebotomist helping the front desk with their jobs and being friendly and helpful.
