Today was our first visit to Clear Lake Kids Psychiatry, and it was great! We saw Dr. Schwartz, and it was a great experience. He was very patient and took the time to get to know our child. He asked lots of questions and also answered all of our questions. You can tell that he’s very knowledgeable about what he does. But even more important than that, you can tell that he cares. We feel confident trusting him with our child’s care.

My daughter was diagnosed and medicated by another doctor. The medicine started working the first few months after it was not working and I tried to find a doctor for her. I checked that this clinic had very good comments and of course there was the opportunity to make an appointment and the truth is they filled all of them. my answer they asked all my questions they always spend a lot of time understanding my daughter from the first weeks I saw that the medicine was working on her she was diagnosed very well and I am very happy to have found this place I drive 40 minutes to get to this place my Insurance does not cover it, I pay with my own money but the truth is that every dollar that Yogasto is worth it is very worth it. If you are looking for a place where you can understand your child, this would be a very good place. I recommend that you make an appointment and the health of our children is priceless.

Our son was diagnosed here and everything went great with referrals and follow up appointment. However when we needed billing records for insurance claims we were told it’s a $25 charge, even if it’s just electronic. Seems like trying to discourage people from asking for something every other clinic does for free.

Spoke with Carrie on the phone today. I asked for a refill for my daughters prescription and she scoffed at me and said we had refills on file. Her tone indicated that my call was the biggest inconvenience for her. So, I thanked her and called the pharmacy who said there were no refills on file. Okay, so I called Carrie back and stated as such. Again, annoyed and rude, she said that I wasn't supposed to call in a refill using the prescription phone number, I was just supposed to ask for a refill directly. I asked her why she didn't tell me this before I called the pharmacy and she said, "well, I didn't know you were going to call in the prescription using the prescription number." I told her that 90% of people in america use the prescription number for refills. I then asked to speak to the manager. Again, she scoffed at me and said, "I am the manager." and I said "No. I want to speak to Ms Russell then. Document this call and have her call me back because this is unacceptable." She asked me for a number to call me back and I said, "You have it on file. LOOK IT UP."

I cannot believe she was so rude to me. We have been coming here for well over five years and have never ever had an issue until today. I do not think we will be back.

We’ve been seeing Dr.Swartz for a couple years now! He’s seriously the BEST! My son loves him so much, he actually takes the time to understand my son and cares about him, not just giving out medicine. He gets to the root of the issue. I’ve always been very pleased. I recommend him. Their front desk is amazing as well. Always answers and quick to get back to me.

This was a great place and the specialist we saw was really nice and listened well to my daughter. She felt at ease The front desk lady was nice and professional. I will say she works very hard and it looks like she could really use an assistant as she was checking in people, answering phones, helping schedule appointments, getting patient paperwork done, and many other things at the same time! Looks like they hired an amazing manager for the front office though!
