5 stars for the nurse named Lisa , if there is more than one Lisa it's the , She is the Lisa that has blonde/ light brown hair and a pretty smile. She was very thorough in explaining to my grandmother what was needed and her bedside manner was awesome. Shout out to Dr Kamat for his thorough and safely done procedure. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way , was the lady who was transporting my grandmother to do the procedure, she told me grandmother what the doctor was going to administer into her IV, two of which she is allergic too and had a bad reaction to last time , Hispanic woman with tattoos, specifically one on her wrist , and my grandmother reminded her she was allergic, and this lady rudely replied " why aren't you wearing your allergy bracelet" first off one was never given to her or ordered for her but she had the information from her primary in her wallet. So the mouthy lady checked my grandmother's chart again and she looked at the lady she was training and they both stayed quiet. I assume bc we were In the room. I didn't catch this ladies name , she needs to be retrained , learn better manners , and not speak or tell someone they are receiving medications THATS ALREADY LISTED on the chart as an allergy, right before a procedure. Other than her ignorance, I want to thank Nurse Lisa and Dr. Kamat for taking care of my grandmother.

As bad as my situation is with having a collapsed lung....I gotta say this is the best hospital I've ever seen. I myself haven't been a patient at many hospitals but from the ones I seen who my grandparents and mother were patients and seen the dirty things that can go on about serious stuff regarding your health, I've never seen one like these guys at Christus hospital they have gone above and beyond and made me feel every bit of comfort and most of all the trust!! I commend everyone working in the ICU as they all are very good at their jobs and make this place very peaceful!! The facility is clean the food is decent I really couldn't ask for better in the bad state my health is in and make it that much easier for me to heal up. Thank you guys seriously from the bottom of my heart! 💯

The wait is long , they are short staffed, and they are unequipped to handle severe and cancer patients. They ignore family members and they rarely give proper medical attention to patients. They nearly dosed my husband with insulin and he isn't even a diabetic, much less an insulin dependent one at that.

Empty lobby but the staff was still slow, inefficient, and rude. Kicked me out because I wanted to sign the paperwork do discharge my child who was supposed to be discharged already 15 minutes ago. But their inefficiency made 15 minutes turn into 45 minutes. Got the mom waiting for them to finish sitting around doing nothing now.

I had Excellent Care, starting with the ER Staff, they were VERY CARING, EFFICIENT!! They were very busy that day, but got me to a room to be seen quickly! Thank you to all of
Them on shift that day!! Med Surg Nurses, Hospitalist, were also GREAT! And then there’s the Radiology Staff….TOP NOTCH!! Would recommend Christus Spohn Alice to EVERYONE!!!

If you want a misdiagnose, to get even more sick or possibly die then I highly recommend this hospital. If you’re looking for professional medical help then I suggest to seek out other hospitals or just YouTube it. Self teaching in a day would probably make you more knowledgable and professional than their “educated” staff.
