My daughter just turned 4 and we missed her well appointment because she was sick. I brought her in for a sick visit with a fever and cough. I show up and they tell me they are changing it to a well visit but they’d still address her sickness. They said she has an upper respiratory infection and they are going to go ahead and do her vaccine after I insisted she wasn’t having them while she was sick and running a fever. They told me she could either have her vaccines or I could look for a new doctor. Mind you, these vaccines are for 4-6 years old so she technically doesn’t have to have them yet. I will be looking for a new doctor, but be informed, advocate for your kids. Children’s health cares more about their vaccine Schedules than the child receiving them. I’m not anti vaccine I have done all of the previous, I was only asking to wait until she felt better.

We never had a great experience here...from the beginning as a newborn mom I was met with confrontation from Dr. Okonkwo himself but I continued to give this office a try for over 16 months. I've always felt like my child was just a number here. From the office staff to the providers there was never a personable experience. Anytime I would call with a question for one of the nurses, you were lucky to get a call back, and if they did they wouldn't listen to your concerns just make you feel like you needed to rush in for an appointment to be seen. When you go in for appointments you would either be rushed in and out OR have to wait forever to be see.
Fortunately we have another provider that is the exact opposite of this place....

I love the doctor's and the staff. Always helpful and welcoming and will go to the extent for the family well-being to keep them healthy and always concern about even the smallest to the biggest questions that I would have concerning my kids health. I would not trade them for any other doctors nor staff.

No long wait times. Clean facility and the staff is caring and kind.

Gave my kid medication for no reason. Took my daughter in for a check up and had a urine test done to make sure there was no infection. Dr called later that evening stating that there was an infection and she would need antibiotics. 3 days later they call again and say theres no infection and we can stop giving her medication.

The staff was inordinately condescending and ill informed. Doctor would continually interrupt any answer to any questions he asked. Brought in another provider to laugh at autism terminology that they were unfamiliar with and the other provider proceeded to talk about another patient in my presence. These people should not be practicing medicine.

Had a good newborn appointment and feel very comfortable taking my child here for their future care. Dr. and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.
