No I'm Not

I was there last afternoon. Got to a room in 20 minute, doctor saw me within another 20 minutes ran test got results and e as discharged before 6pm. I Don t see why a lot of peoples give only one star. Maybe they get caught up in the busy time of the ED. I just of just been lucky to go in during a lull. Either way all nurses, doctor and CT staff and registration staff were all extremely nice and very professional IMO. I recommend St. Vincent's to everyone.

I wish there was a no star review… I came in to the emergency room with my 4 month old baby.. registration came to the room billing me with $489.. because yes I got told the amount.. I really don’t mind as long as they see my baby.. but the fact no doctor, nurse, or practitioner has seen my child at all is sooo upsetting!!! Like oh so I’m getting billed for a service that hasn’t even been done yet..

They don't care about their patients at all. They just gaslight you. I went in for a serious issue. The doctor spent about 4 minutes with me, and did not even listen. I had blood drawn for labs, but was never informed of the results. The paramedics said I had a myocardial infarction, but the doctor just brushed it off. I was sent home and told to go to my regular doctor. The nurse was rude, and was very rough putting in the iv. The first iv didn't work, so I was stuck again in the other arm. I would rather go to a veterinarian. Stay away from this place!

Dr. B Ruby was amazing. I came in with severe pelvic pain and she was quick to get me a pelvic ultrasound and some pain medicine. She found the cause of my pain is most likely endometriosis and she set me up with an OBGYN to go see. It’s so hard to find doctors who take endometriosis seriously and she was great.

The nurses were great, rooms very clean but, very upset that as a request for a covid test to be done on my husband. We then went to the VA hospital for other reasons and getting ready for a procedure for the following day. VA tested him for covid and he was positive and me too. We could have saved money and not got a hotel room which cost a hundred dollars. Affecting everyone else. If a patient requests a covid test take the test for that patient.

Although I didn’t feel like the visit to the ER was necessary for my daughter, having extreme tonsillitis, we were referred there by urgent care to get a CT scan to make sure her airway wasn’t getting too blocked and that there wasn’t an abscess.
I wanted to come by and leave a review to make sure that an ER nurse was given some recognition. Her name is Cheyenne.
She was incredibly personable and funny. If we had more Cheyennes to talk to at healthcare facilities The world would be a better place! I know this is a tough industry. I have a lot of friends in it. As a mom and just want the nurses like Cheyenne to know that we appreciate healthcare workers like you.

I've had the WORST care in CHI ..ER. Doctors and services don't deserve a
1 star. No one came in for one shot for over 5 hours.
And, being released after 8 hrs..Dr. didn't call in the full RX? Now, it's Sunday, So, I called back and ER doctor hung up on me.
Unexplainable Services!!!

Several days ago, I drove my boyfriend to CHI St Vincent ER because he had chest pains. He was given ECG, bloodwork and a chest xRay. After about an hour and a half, my boyfriend was given a room in the ER. The nurse told us that all of the tests, bloodwork and xRay were all normal, no heart attack and that was probably just a muscle pull, not serious. He said that the Doctor would see him shortly. We waited another hour, no Doctor saw him. We very disappointed with the slowness. All if the rooms in ER were full, waiting room filled. Horrible situation.
