The staff at Cherokee Eye Clinic is nice and helpful throughout the exams and choosing eyewear. Dr. McKissick is very pleasant and patient, which is important to me when others doctors have rushed through exams. I also like the selection of eyewear. Worth the trips from Rome to Centre.

So I have been going here for years and recent changes with the doctors and staffing has made this place better, IMO. This time last year, if you needed an appointment you had to wait months for an appointment. Recently I called to schedule an appointment on a Thursday and got an appointment four days later. The staff is pushing many more patients per day through the office. Be forewarned, long gone are the COVID days with two patients in the office at a time. The office will be full with patients. The docs and staff were all very friendly, took a decent amount of time with each of the patients, and took time to answer all of my questions. I do not purchase my glasses here, but contacts. The reason being, is that their selection of glasses seems to be a bit thin however, I do take the prescription and purchase glasses online. I am picky with the glasses I wear :). Great job to the staff with the recent changes I am very glad I can schedule an appointment when needed not months down the road.

I had a great experience getting a glasses prescription and contacts at Cherokee Eye Clinic! I have a lot of eye issues, and Dr. Myers took her time to listen and made sure I could see good out of my contacts! All staff was nice and helpful!

I recently tried this place to try staying local. After eye exam for glasses and contacts and receiving both, neither were right prescription. After telling them I wanted thinnest lenses possible, tinted and edges polished, none was done. Had to reorder with new prescription, still cannot see out of glasses or contacts after 4 week wait time and lenses were not changed to thinnest, only edges polished. I have been wearing glasses for 55 yrs, now who is expert on this? Aweful experience and time consuming on repeat trips.

Very professional staff, had a very kind sweet young man as a tech who did his job amazing and was very nice to talk to. Dr Meyers was very good and thorough with her exam and had a lot of knowledge about what she was talking about. Very nice staff would give 6/5 stars if possible!

Had an appt. 2 wks ago. I got the appt. very fast with no problem. there was a very long wait time. Appt. was at 9am, it was an hr and a half before I was taken back to see the Dr. They were very prompt at getting me back for the first test and dilation. Seeing the Dr. was where the wait was apparently the problem. So I was there about 2 hrs. I understand that things happen and it creates issues, therefore it puts everything behind. What I don't quite understand is how within 1 hr of opening you are already 1 and a half hrs behind. I've used this office for many years with children, grandkids and so forth. Im not complaining at all. Just think maybe they are trying to push an excessive amount of patients through and it is causing these long wait times. The office staff has always been wonderful along with the doctors.

I had 2 hrs wait made appointment 3 weeks in advance. Was told had 40 dollar co . Copay when insurance said they covere ed 1st Vista once a year. Staff untrained on people skills and when finally got to see doctor some kid was standing on corner with no mask on
If want not feel to be responsible to wear mask or vactionated should not be one to public. Never return
Wish could give negiitive stars.

Payed more than what I was expecting. Insurance allows exam with dilation for a $20 co-pay, got charged for $75 for contact fitting without being forewarned. Overall staff was professional and wait wasn't that long.

Also, was informed that my glasses prescription was not filled out will all information necessary to order glasses. Missing PD.
