This place is horrible!!!! My mom is a patient and I am in the process of switching her doctors. You can't get referrals when you need them. The office staff is terrible!!!. if enough people start complaining and switching their loved ones, maybe they will listen. It was never like this in the beginning. I am so disappointed. Thank God my mom has the support of her children, who will stand on business for her. What about the other elderly patients that don't have help? They just have to accept what's going to happen to them. That's not fair!!! CHEN MEDICAL YOU HAVE TO DO BETTER!!!!!

Read their new patient form pages before signing. I did and found another primary. I think one should chose, then meet and then get examined PRIOR to the ordering of a battery of perhaps un-necessary tests. They do it the other way. Get tests first. Also the forms basically gives most patients rights to Chen. For example: I will not agree to use their telehealth care service period! . How medically unprofessional! I have had 7 heart attacks, 4 stents, a double heart by-pass pacemaker/defibrillator, and more. Telehealth is for a flu and maybe not even that in some cases. Face to face is my choice.

ChenMed provides exceptional care for my mom, who spent 40+ years paying for expensive private health insurance but never received the type of care she does now. Her primary doctor is exceptional and every single specialist she has been sent to goes above and beyond to help her address whatever is ailing her.

ChenMed is how all healthcare should be provided to patients who want to be healthy and proactive in improving and maintaining good health. I am looking forward to the date when I am old enough to be a patient and receive this type of exceptional care.

Chen Medical violated the HIPPA law by giving out my personal contact information to a sales person. This person called me and said Chen helped her obtain my phone number because it had changed and was not available on Google. She also sent me a email regarding her reason for contacting me via Chen. As much as you claim to be health care you are not for your staff have proven incompetent and now untrustworthy.
This is deeply troubling and worth professional examination into this violation.

You do understand my disgust.

They said come in to meet the doctor. I went in… And was hustled into a small room where they I went in… And was hustled into a small room, where they informed me that they don’t take my insurance I spent the next 3 to 4 hours in a tiny little office with very charming representative who tried to change my insurance, so that I could be seen by the doctor. We were on the phone with their insurance agent who took all the information to change my insurance. They said I could not meet or speak to the doctor until I was officially a patient. I did not want to be officially a patient until I’m at the doctor. I made that very clear prior to arriving.
But this young man ( turns out to be completely sales person) has me on the phone with their insurance agent changing my insurance so I could become a patient. It would not let me make the doctor and they did promise me the doctor was a Functional Medicine doctor, but when I got home and was able to research I didn’t find that to be the case, I went back in person because nobody would answer the phone. The place was jammed with people waiting to be seen by the doctor.
This definitely felt like a scam. And as far as I can tell the doctor that I was going to be assigned to is not, I repeat, is not a Functional Medicine practitioner, as I was told she was.
So now, myself, along with a lot of other negative reviews tells me to stay away.
The sales pitch was the only thing excellent.
I was there for a doctor not a sales pitch….. disgusting bait and switch. Preying on the elderly..

Miami location 22th Avenue and 95th street. Totally dissatisfied, when a local pharmacy is out of medication, elderly patients are responsible for calling around or driving around the area to find a pharmacy to fill their prescriptions, and when you find a pharmacy to fill the prescriptions the prescriptions aren’t completed correctly, medical staff isn’t astute to know not to perform ultrasounds on patients with pacemakers, they allow patients to be in pain for weeks waiting for pain management appointments scheduled weeks away. There isn’t any geriatric concentration. Appears to be an assembly line of weekly visits just to bill Medicare.

Hallandale office is not a good office three if customer service reps attitudes is deplorable no empathy for seniors, bad attitudes towards some youthful seniors.. you can look at their faces and see they don’t want to be bothered. No common courtesy, . I think doctors are taking on too many patients at one time. There was times I had to wait an hour to see the physician and the appointment was visit seemed to be rushed to be over with.. this last doctor needs an attitude adjustment. Very confrontational. After 13 years there, disappointed. Care not to go back there. I have respect for myself and I have to be the proactive for myself. A person can only take so much mental abuse and lip service because they are in charge. I ne er had problems except for the last two years with the changes of personal they made. Awful, just awful Zc

They force you to send to a SPECIALIST of their choice which means to a place where they can save money and the patient gets treatment of third class citizen. I wanted my EYES examined . It was a follow up. They would not let me see the Dr who did my surgeries on previous occasions. They sent me to a place called MEDEYE where I had to wait for 3 hours and finally saw the Rudest Dr. I have come across in my life,
