My mom was fortunate to have Charter Palliative Care. They provided professional care for her.
We were more than fully satisfied with the excellent services provided by them. They had the best in class services with an emphasis on comfort, dignity and quality. My mom’s nurses showed compassion and love, they felt like family. I felt she had the best care anyone can ask her. Her case manager, Alfred was beyond exceptional. I personally truly miss the staff. They kept a calmness with our family, they always stayed on top of her health.

I would like to share this review with Charter Home Health and also give thanks to Case Manager Vanessa who was very patient and knowledgeable in helping my mother with her treatment and follow ups. We are going through a tough time now and having your love ones not doing so good hurts so much. Miss Vanessa helped and made sure we were taken care of, she contacted us and showed empathy and patience. Thank You Miss Vanessa, God bless you and your family! Charter was not a good decision for my mothers life. The case worker /manager does not want to do any work and is lazy. My moms blood sugar went over 400, they did not send a nurse (she also has cancer) to her and proceeded to make an appointment for my mom to see her primary doctor (the old dr she has not gone to to In 4 years) . How do they not have current dr info when their nurses would come every 2 weeks and ask us each time same questions each time: who are your doctors and what meds us she taking. Where did all our info go? True lack of empathy and complete disregard for us. This is just one of many examples and I’m too tired to write the rest. This company wore us down.

Our experience with this company has been extremely frustrating!! They are contracted with Kaiser and need to lose that contract. Each time my mother has had a referral we go through pure hell to schedule an appointment. It's starts with them saying they didn't receive the referral. (Now I always get a copy and send it to them while
I have them on the phone. I don't hang up until they admit they have it. They use every excuse in the book to stall scheduling!! I call daily, they know me and know I will not give up. I know my mom will receive care but what about other seniors that do not have someone to do this for them. They try to tell us only one visit a week is covered when the referral clearly states 3 visits per week. Insurance allows 35 hours per week. They straight out told me they did not have the staff to accommodate this. I told them to either hire more staff or graciously tell Kaiser they could not accommodate their patients and terminate their contract. Today they ran out of stories and told me my mom had been referred back to Kaiser. Kaiser was even flabbergasted by this.
I will be filing formal written complaints with Kaiser, The state dept of licensure, health facilities div , The Joint commission, Medicare, Department of managed care and anyone else that I can think of. They have wasted countless hours of my time and set my moms recovery behind. They can now spend the rest of their time by being required to formally responding to each agency.
On a side note ... the therapist and nurses that have come out to see my mom have been wonderful.

Rose and her staff are incredible. Their follow up is impeccable. They are taking great care in making sure my mom Is provided with all her needs. I’d like to thank Rose and her staff for all their hard work and professionalism; Especially rose for going beyond expectations.

They did they best the best they could for my mothers condition. Compassion is key to geriatric care! I was impressed with the rapid response time and LVN who aided in my mother’s care!

Please only Get charter hospice if you to suffer.
☆There LVNurses and RNurses do not care About there patients. They are very hesitant in giving you supplies. Constantly need to be reminded.
