So, I find this doctor thorough and proactive. On my first visit, he quickly sized me up in terms of some very accurate, underlying and outstanding health issues, a thing no other doctor had done. He referred me to a number of appropriate specialists in order to get a good snapshot of where I am, and he understood when I couldn't afford all of them at this time. He is not a drug pusher, having the courage to make conservative recommendations such as weight loss in connection with healthier diet, etc. Some doctors won't even bother saying such things since they well know that most patients, per human nature, look for the easy way out: "Just give me pills and let me eat what I wanna eat, doc! If I take enough pills, maybe it will help fill my stomach, so I eat less of that KFC, no?" Lol. His frank response to my over drinking did interestingly linger with me, resulting in a significant reduction in my bad habit. He even demonstrates a larger human interest in his patients, in that when he saw I was in between jobs, he took the time to verbalize an accurate observation about my demeanor in terms of a professional role, and he even made a specific job recommendation connected to his knowledge of the community. What I was also impressed by is his humility. He verbalized recognition that he came from a third-world county and could have ended up in worse places in life. I think he is a good doctor to develop a HEALTHY relationship with, lol.

I thought this was an important issue to address as I have been a patient of doctor Jay's for about 20 years. When he first opened his walk in clinic, his dream was to open his own practice. Which he has and I am so proud of him to have achieved his goal and because of loveabd his concern for others, his patience, his medical knowledge and so much hard work. I was thrilled when he added Jessie to his team as she has made a world of difference in the office, she treats her patients as if they were her own parents. She listens to what their concerns are. She lets us all know they are there for us to help ²to do whatever it takes to get us the help we need. I'm sure like all of us. She has her good days in But she never lets on as she is always smiling and let us know how much she cares, and will do whatever it takes to help us together. She and doctor Jay make a great team. A few other patients and I have Commented on being so happy with the care given to them. But we all have agreed that the first person to greet us when we come in. Is a girl named Daysha at the check in? We would think she would smile and be polite to us like. How may I help you, sir or ma'am, or Mr. Or miss or misses, but not to call them sweetie or honey. Her attitude is horrible she is very disrespectful. She does not seem like she wants to be there and does not like her job. When I call and ask for Jessie or to ask about my scripts or to review my scripts or to find out what my med is for I'm placed on hold for so long. Many times I have hung up the phone and had to call back only to go through the long wait again and again, she should have come back on line and let me know she will give me Jessie a message or do I mind still holding But nothing, doctor Jay has worked so very hard to build his business and from the people I've talked with we all agree that he needs to make Huge changes in his office before he looses these patients that love him and Jessie and make this office a great place again.

I believe the expression is, "he has the best bedside manner." But seriously, he is thoughtful & thorough, just a kind man doing his doctoring. A doctor who listens to his patients. Genuinely a great doctor because he cares & treats people like family. Thanks Dr. Jay.
