My daughter (9) absolutely loves Laura. She would get so excited for Friday mornings. After seeing Laura for just a month, my kid has opened up so much more. Having someone to talk to other than me has made us grow closer.

Laura is really sweet. She really knows how to communicate with children. The office is comfortable and home-like, though a little difficult to get to during high traffic times. It is definitely worth it!

Sarah has been so kind in all the sessions I've had with her, both one on one and couples. She is very encouraging and also has a joke or two. Though I have just started my healing journey she has made it a very easy process so far when I was scared and didn't know what to expect.

We have been working with Dustin B. at the Georgetown location and it has been a wonderful experience for us as a family. Dustin has provided us with invaluable information to help us better manage ADHD symptoms. Dustin is also very compassionate to the sensitivity and stigma surrounding mental health and how we can better support the needs of our children. He provides practical advice, a different prospective to parenting that we hadn't tried before, and links to websites that we found to be very resourceful. We would highly recommend Dustin to any parent who needs help with ADHD and parent coaching. My child also looked forward to their visit there which was a bonus!

I'm so grateful to have found Georgetown Child & Family Counseling. As a newcomer to Georgetown, I was looking for a therapist close to home, specifically one that does EMDR. Working with Shelly has been great, and through my appointments with her, I feel cared for, heard, and have tools to improve my life and my relationships.

My review at this early stage is based on my experience with scheduling/office staff, and being matched to a provider. My experience as a new patient.

The coordinator took time to hear me and my family needs before placing my child with one person, me with another- based on very specific information that I provided. The consult just to get matched to a counselor, was like a session in itself - very thorough and considerate.

I have been involved in therapy my entire life - I’m well versed you could say - and I have NEVER felt relief after just speaking to a coordinator or office staff. It’s a bit surreal and very promising.

Jenna is amazing! She knows my entire family of 6. She has helped us get through things I felt couldn't be handled. I'm so glad I took the leap of faith with her. We still see her on a regular basis and my family is striving because of her help. Definitely the person to see for adolescent to adult problems.
