Dr. Jose Lopez and his entire staff were absolutely wonderful. From the time we made the appointment through our entire visit. The staff was warm, accommodating and genuine. Everyone went out of there way to make us feel like family. Dr. Lopez was thorough in his examination and made us feel like our mom was his family as well. We were very impressed with the depth of knowledge Dr. Lopez has and how efficient his staff was. We left with hope knowing that our mom was in there care. We would recommend Dr. Lopez and staff to anyone.

Dr. Lopez has been the primary physician for my mother and myself for over 15 years. His
knowledge, professionalism and his approach to our care has always been on point. We never have a long wait time during scheduled appointments and his staff have been helpful and gracious. Dr. Lopez is not only a very good doctor, he is a genuinely caring human being.

Was not happy with my visit. I came in for an annual visit. First time seeing Dr. Lopez. I felt dismissed. None of my concerns were listened to and addressed. The visit was rushed. All I got was a paper to go get blood work done.
I mentioned about having 2 pregnancy losses this year and his answer is that there’s something wrong with me and not my husband because he is able to get me pregnant then I’m the problem. The Dr. spent less than 4 minutes in the room with me and that was his “diagnosis”. Let’s please not blame pregnancy loss on women and make these comments without even running tests and inquiring about the full history. I’ve never seen a doctor less interested in a patient’s medical history and symptoms before.
I am a health care physician myself and understand how chaotic some days can be and that sometimes we don’t have the time we would like to spend with each patient, however in my practice I make sure to listen to my patients and give them the necessary attention when I am in the room with them. It is my opinion that Dr. Lopez lacks bedside manners and his demeanor is like he does not care. Was excited before my visit today but will not be coming back.

I have never written a negative review in my entire life, but this one deserves it. If I could rate negative stars it wouldn’t be enough to describe how bad this experience was. I had the misfortune to contact this office back in July/2021 because Dr. Lopes is listed on the immigration website to do the immigration form required for status change. I made the appointment for July. A day before my appointment, they called to let me know that the office that I was supposed to go was in Oakland, not the one close to my house. When I got there, it took more than one hour and a half for him to see me, and this obnoxious and arrogant man did not spend more than three minutes in the room with me, and said the “they” (receptionists) would do everything. Well, I did my part, the lab work, and all the immunization required. It took a month for everything to be done. From that moment on a terrible battle started. These people simply do not pick up the phone. I would call them multiple times a day and I was put on hold for hours, and this is not an exaggeration, hours, until I gave up. I would leave them many voice messages, and had no return. I was able to talk to them a couple of times, and I was told that they would call me back, and that had never happened. On the last week of October, I was able to talk to them again, and ask again how should I send them the receipts of immunization, they told me to scan it, and send it to specific email. I immediately did it. They never acknowledged that they received it, and I was also told that they do not receive emails from patients. On November 10 I was able to talk to them, and I was told that I could go get my form on November 12, at 12pm. I was there at 12pm sharp. By that time, I was also told that it was their lunch time, so they turned the lights off, locked the windows and left me there for more than one hour.
After that one hour lunch, it took the lady one more hour to fill the form with wrong information, and then correct it. Clearly she did it on a rush, after all three months and half was not enough time to have things ready. She also wanted to give me my copy with the wrong information, to save paper and toner I am guessing.
I have never been so disrespected and mistreated in my life at a Doctors’ office. It’s like they are doing you a favor to do their job for a good amount of money.
They do not have any ethical standards or professionalism. I can only imagine if I had a health issue. Shame on them!!!! Totally unacceptable.

The first time I went to Dr. Lopez was in 2014. I was really impressed how attentive he was. He listened and cared so much. I can tell that he’s been very attentive till couple of years ago but since then every time I go to his office I feel like he is rushing and most of the time I come out of his office without having a chance to talk to him about my health concerns. I was going to tell him all these that I’m writing now but it seems that I never get a chance for this. I have to admit that he is an excellent doctor with a lot of knowledge if he pays more attention and gives his patients more time and doesn’t rush. He cured some of my health issues that even the specialists couldn’t do it!! I know that he is an excellent doctor, therefor I am writing this review hoping he would listen to his patients and change to how he was in 2014! I have read some one star reviews and they all had the same concerns. I hope that he would consider giving his patients more time and attention again.
His staffs are nice and helpful.

Doctor Lopez is an excellent professional ,with a lot of knowledge and
caring person, who answers all questions I'm very comfortable with his decisions and guidance with all my health concern.

The staff and doctor were kind and friendly. I arrived about 15 min early to my appointment but didn't get in until an hour after my appointment time. That is understandable as sometimes things happen. When speaking with the doctor for the first time I explained why I was there. He acknowledged what I said but never actually addressed it. There were no plans made to address it in the future either. I did not feel that he was concerned or paying attention to what was concerning me. I don't feel that there was any malice in how he acted, just that he was apathetic towards my concerns.
