Its so disappointing after getting my child seeing here for hole 2 years im going to place her in another pediatrician, this place at first a thought it was good but now they having this front desk that they don’t even pickup the phones calls when we call and overbooked when child is having a emergency. Very disappointing…. She was seeing Dr Kelly and now they said she is no longer working with them. . She was great.

When I first read the reviews of the place I was super nervous to go. We had lost our first pregnancy and were pregnant again and was so scared for our special days to be destroyed by these staff. I felt it was super important to come here and leave my review. Every staff member I've came into contact with has been tremendous. My Dr is yanill Hernandez and she is so sweet. Don't let all these bad reviews scare you off like they almost did me. Great place and very excited to have them on our journey and our life to help monitor this blessing growing in me šŸ’•šŸ’•

I went here because at the beginning of my pregnancy I was bleeding and couldn’t get anyone else to give me an appointment asap. The care through my pregnancy was fine. They for some reason don’t understand what white coat syndrome is. I told them and even took pics of my very low blood pressure at home and then would not believe me that it wasn’t fine.

The big issue was after I had my son. I figured I would continue to go there because most of the people I had met were nice and helpful. The pediatrician was a complete idiot though. She was all doom and gloom from the get go. She acted like I was trying to kill my baby. She was worried that he was jaundice, but his bilirubin numbers were in the normal range. Then she was worried about his weight gain. She definitely doesn’t understand that breastfed babies take longer to regain their birth weight (which can actually be higher than it really is if mom was given an IV.) She ended up sending us to get another bilirubin test, she freaked out and called us at 7pm, told us to rush him to the emergency room. We get there, they put him under lights, do another bilirubin test, and tell us exactly what google told me that his numbers were fine. They however, started freaking out over his weight and told me that he needed to be admitted and I couldn’t leave without signing an AMA (against medical advice) form. They sent us up to SMH in Sarasota to be admitted. We spent an exhausting and stressful night with no pjs, toothbrush, or any of the normal things you have at home with a 15 day old. All this just to be told by the pediatrician that next morning that there was no medical reason for us to be there. Now my insurance will not cover the bill because none of this was medically necessary and I owe almost $5,700 for a one night stay at the worst hotel ever. Worst pediatrician ever.

The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly however my encounter with Dr. Flemens was absolutely horrifying. I am currently miscarrying and when I went to speak with an OB in regards to the cramping I was experiencing (before I started miscarrying) I was set up with an appointment with Dr. Flemens. When I got there and was seen by the nurse I explained to the nurse everything that was happening so she could tell the doctor so I wouldn’t have to explain myself over and over. When Dr. Flemens came into the room it honestly felt like she was trying to rush me out! I had some questions that she wouldn’t answer or if she did answer it was ā€œyou need to prepare and expect a miscarriageā€. She brought up my last 2 ultrasounds and said ā€œif the doctors weren’t able to find anything then you’ll more than likely miscarry and you need to prepare for that.ā€ Now I understand that doctors have to be blunt and honest but there are ways to be empathetically detached and deliver information in a nicer way. She had horrible bed side manner! If I do ever go back I will never deal with that women again! Dr. Singer and his nursing team we’re absolutely amazing my first visit and he made me feel really comfortable and heard all of my concerns and answered all of my questions without judgement. Flemens on the other hand, absolutely horrible and I wouldn’t recommend anyone see her! She gave me such an awful experience!

Dental office review only....... Firstly the receptionist was AMAZING. super friendly, patient and knowledgeable. The wait was very short in my opinion. The assistant was also amazing and perfect for my 3yr old daughter, so sweet and kind. My issue started with the 2nd assistant that was there all of 5 minutes. Most uncomfortable 5 min I've ever had a t a dentist. The assistant said she's "right under the Dr.". She was very judgmental rude demeaning and my encounter with her was possibly the worst I've ever had in a pediatric dentistry. Now I shrugged off my encounter with her because it was super short however after my appointment was over I found out she was the one in with my 12-year-old daughter as well as another assistant. My my daughter felt uncomfortable the entire experience she was very aggressive with her as well talk down to her was very rude to the other assistant. including my daughter mentioning that she felt like they were fighting because of how nasty she was towards the other assistant and it was just downright a poor experience for my child. The doctor was also amazing so from start to finish we had a wonderful experience and I would recommend this place to anyone. that is if that other woman isn't involved in your appointment!!! She needs some major training because I'm not sure I'll ever let her near my kids again.

My 1-month-old baby peed when she weighed in and the nurse got mad at me. They are always in a bad mood. Unfortunately I ultimately had to stop going because I couldn't deal with the front end staff.
