Asked to talk with the doctor as I’m waiting for over 2h for a cold/flu/covid exam only when I was sent here from Urgent Care for a blood test since I’ve got an infection. Wanted to understand why no test for the symptoms I’m having and the nurse came over to talk, when she left, doctor David was outside and said “thank you” to her and didn’t came to talk. I even saw him passing by my room.
Important note is that I have a newborn at home that I need to breastfeed and I don’t want to develop a mastitis while waiting. No compassion from employees.

You should really have self parking. These complimentary valet isn't working. The valet was on his phone when I arrived with an emergency. Paid no attention. I had to honk at him.

There is literally a check in guy telling people he hates "this part of his job". That is NOT how you welcome people.

They have this new generation just sitting and standing talking about patients with no regard to privacy.

These 2 were gossiping for like 20 mins.

Whether it was offering words of encouragement, anticipating my needs, or taking the time to make sure I was truly comfortable, you all embodied the heart and soul of patient care. Your dedication and compassion left an indelible mark on my journey to recovery, and I can’t thank you enough for that .

Edith Anderson, my amazing OT—you guided me through recovery with such patience and encouragement. Your expertise and genuine care made every step of the process feel manageable, and for that, I am truly grateful.

And then there’s Dr. Hakimian—the funniest, most grounded doctor, blending brilliance and humanity into the art of healing.

But let’s talk about Dr. Hurst—where do I even begin? If there were an Academy Award for medicine, he would take home the gold every year. But beyond his gifted hands and steady technique lies a healer whose presence alone brings peace and comfort. Dr. Hurst isn’t just a brilliant surgeon—he’s a poised, impeccably dressed, and compassionate physician who carries himself with a grace that’s rare to find. God has truly blessed him with the ability to heal both the body and the mind, making his impact felt in ways that transcend the physical.

To me, Dr. Hurst is more than just a doctor—he’s like an uncle, offering not only medical expertise but also warmth, wisdom, and unwavering support. His calm demeanor, coupled with a deep sense of care and understanding, created an environment where I felt safe and genuinely cared for. His spiritual presence and genuine commitment to his patients make him a healer in every sense of the word.

This team is not just a group of medical professionals; they are healers, angels in scrubs, and the very definition of excellence in healthcare. Cedars-Sinai Marina Del Rey is, without a doubt, home to the best.

Took my mom to the ER on a Sunday night around 7pm for extremely high blood pressure. She saw a doctor in a decent amount of time but was told she'd gave to wait 2 hours for the result of her blood tests. Why does it take longer to get lab results from a hospital then it does from a clinic? And to top it off the registration administrator had an unpleasant attitude when I asked a question. Not the kind of service I'm used to at a Cedars facility.

Came in around 1am and left around 330am on a Friday night for a dog bite to the face. Every employee I encountered was professional and were pleasant to receive care from. Some of the nurses had good senses of humor and were upbeat which was refreshing. Was expecting to hate the experience but was surprised by how quick things moved along. Thankful these places exist and are open 24 hours - they provided me good care.

The worst experience I have ever been through. Brought my 13 year old daughter in because she was experiencing concerning symptoms after being diagnosed with a sinus infection. She had stiff neck, blurred vision, nausea, light sensitivity, and dizziness. When we arrived she had a low grade fever of 99.7 and blood pressure of 134/80 which is not normal.

The wait was expected but waited for 1 hour then was brought back in another waiting area for another hour and a half. We were addressed out in the open in front of everyone and was asked why we were there. I explained all I could and was told by the PA “so what’s concerning?” “Those are all normal symptoms of a sinus infection.” I explained the doctor at cedar Sinai urgent care told me to bring her in right away if she has any fever at all and any concerning symptoms. She then proceeded to tell me 99.7 is not a low grade fever and that my daughter looks fine and that she sees worse sick patients. She also said that the she knows more then the doctors over at the urgent care. That what that doctor told me was false. I got upset rightfully so as I am a parent and want to make sure my daughter is okay, after I got upset she offered to do blood work but I said no thank you as I wanted to take my daughter where she would be cared for. I did walk up and ask her to check my daughters temperature one more time before we left and said I was being hostile but I told her I am a concerned parent who doesn’t feel like she is being heard. She was a very rude PA no empathy at all, and made us feel like we should not have been there. She came over again to talk to me and said she would be concerned if my daughter was vomiting, had stiff neck, dizziness. I got so angry and said those are all her symptoms! Except she hasn’t vomited but only feels nauseous!

I am disappointed that concern and care was not given to my child. I would not come here ever again. The PA was Katherine Genevieve McManus.

I had the worst experience ever, first of all the staff here were ABELIST and DISCRIMINATORY against me because I am developmentally disabled. I came in with an assistant and they assumed I am legally incompetent despite having no documentation to support this. The registration associate ARIN SIMONIAN (pictured) had my assistant sign my signature on the consent forms (TOTALLY ILLEGAL) and then refused to identify himself when I demanded to speak to his supervisor. Well, guess what, I not only complained to his supervisor, But I have his full name and have found his home address among other personal information. The medical staff then had the audacity to ask me to stay for treatment after I refused and stated that I do not want their services. They then attempted to give my discharge papers to my assistant before I interjected. To say that they are unprofessional is a huge understatement, they are beyond ignorant and have a blatant disregard for the rights of disabled individuals,perpetuate stigma against those whom they know nothing about and assume we do not have equal rights as able minded/bodied people. Stay away from this hospital if you have any kind of disability.

Very disappointed in our last visit. We went in for a back injury. My boyfriend slipped on water while leaning over. He immediately screamed, his back was frozen and he couldn't move for several hours. We had to wait to go to the emergency room because he couldn't get to the car. He also had tingling in his hands and feet. The ER doctor wouldn't do any imaging even when he requested it. Just gave him some muscle relaxers and sent him on his way.
