Came to the area a for a friends wedding. So glad we found this place. We stayed here along with 4 other couples. Great amenities and bed was really comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and we loved sitting outside. We will be back with our golf clubs! There is a golf course within walking distance and a great coffee shop BIA cafe… awesome breakfast sandwich

Clean, comfortable rooms immersed in a natural setting. So special to step outside and see redwoods swathed in fog, ducks quacking, deer grazing at night, and the occasional banana slug. The charcoal grills made for a memorable evening dinner. The walking distance businesses make the stay more enjoyable and convenient.

We stayed overnight the first weekend in February. We got in late so they left a message how to get our key in the lockbox. There were five of us so we got the family room, two queen beds and a twin bed in a separate room. These beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was wonderful as it had a tub and shower, which is important to us, nice hot water, with samples of shampoos, conditioners, lotions and a hair dryer. It had a kitchenette with a table, large frig and the cutest microwave. The rooms were so clean, and it was quiet and peaceful here. We enjoyed staying here so much!! Too bad the seasonal pool wasn't open as we would have loved that also, but hope to come back in the Summer. A+

I understand this is a cabin so we didn’t expect much. But having to live in a small cabin brimming with centipedes and spiders and stocked with damp towels, unwashed from the previous guest’s use, and filthy sticky kitchenware was too much. We had booked cabin#22 for two nights but barely survived one night. We checked out first thing in the morning the next day. The place smelled like chemicals when we first walked in. Nothing worked and we felt dirty just being there (heater and fan were both broke). To top it all off, I discovered that at least two of the towels had been used and just folded up and restocked by housekeeping. The drawers were full of clearly unwashed dishes which were still sticky. The pictures speak for themselves. All in all, we felt we were going to catch something if we didn’t leave immediately.

Our stay at Casa Secoya was great! Javier was very helpful during check in and the room had everything we needed. It was very peaceful and quiet amongst the redwoods. 10/10

I would review the rooms and location here...but I can't because I could not get in.

Booked two nights at Casa Seyoca for this past weekend and, per their website, called ahead to set up a late check in (check in is from 4-7 and I thought we might be 7:30). I left my first voicemail at 2:15pm, which was never returned. I called multiple times before finally getting a hold of someone at 5:15 who said that the office was already closed (wow, check in is only one hour?) and that they would email me information about how to access a lockbox/get into our room within 15 minutes. That information never came.

I called and called -- a total of 8 times throughout the day -- and left another voicemail with multiple phone numbers and email addresses. I never received information about how to get into this building. Because I live 90 minutes away, I was not willing to chance the drive (which is on rural roads) only to not be able to get into the hotel. And no one called us to ask why we hadn't ever checked in at all...

I would not reccomend staying here -- even if you want to, you might not be able to get in! What a waste of time, money and hundreds of dollars. STAFF YOUR OFFICE PROPERLY.

The rooms are too small to charge as much as they do.

On a positive note, the rooms had firm mattresses, and was very close to the golf course I played at

1. Check in on Sunday between 4pm and 5pm which we did.
2. Booked cabin with 3 bedrooms. Upon arrival discovered was only one bedroom with a wooden shelf built in a former closet as the 'second' bedroom. (Was called Quail)
3. Sonoma county danger signs posted on building about the deck being unsafe on the duplex cabin,, -is not a single cabin. No prior warning of danger.
4. Strong chemical smell upon entry-assume is their type of cleaner
5. Kitchen. Unique laundry sink. Cutting board looked unsanitary.
6. Informed office immediately this was not what we had booked so could not stay there and also due to the conditions.
Was told they would get the Manager phone number to which there was no followup. We followed up and was told we would be refunded within 10 days. When no refund occurred we followed up again and was told we would not be refunded.
In the end, the photos on the website appear much better than in person. Was a disappointing experience.
