From the moment you walk through the front door and are greeted by the people there at the front desk all the way to going to the cafeteria to get a bite to eat or if you're going upstairs to visit a family member or a friend that's a patient here everyone is smiling and warm and welcoming and very eager to help you find your way because like most hospitals it's a great big maze for someone who doesn't come here very often and every staff member I've come in contact with will stop anything and everything they're doing and physically take you to where you need to go instead of just pointing and saying go this way and that way. They actually take you to where you need to go that way you're not lost and confused. The doctors and nurses are wonderful they take the best care of you. Even the housekeeping staff maybe even especially the housekeeping staff they are so friendly and you see them running around everywhere like busy little bees. this hospital is so super clean I give five stars completely totally great place to come for great health care or just if you're coming to visit your family or friends it has a good atmosphere you don't feel like you're bothering anyone by asking a question or by being there. And sometimes some people even come just to eat dinner that's how good the food is which was really surprising to me like I said all in all great place!

Went to this ER yesterday with my husband for neck and head pains after a "mini-stroke". That is an ER immediately sign. 7.5 hours and never saw a doctor or got treatment. When told of the stroke issues they just wrote down headache as chief complaint. Admitted so billing begins, just to sit in the waiting room and occasionally get called into the back for different test, blood panels every 3 hours, ekg, vitals, triage, and ct scan, and then back to the waiting room. After the time complaint they said we have zero beds in the entire hospital so General is sending ER the overload. ER is not saying, to new walk ins, they are overloaded with the emergency and general until you finally ask "how long?" ER then says people have been waiting for 19 hours and no beds means no treatment so just wait or leave but move so we can admit the next person. The new people are told there is only approximately a 6 hour wait, but don't worry you won't sit in the same place all six hours because we are bringing them in the back frequently. The entire hospital needs to communicate with each other and be honest with the patients before they admit you. This way you can decide to drive to another ER. However, if they did that they wouldn't be able to start billing you but not treat you.

My husband just had surgery here and we were treated with such great care. All the staff are so kind and compassionate. This is a great medical facility and we are truly blessed to have such an awesome facility in our area. All the departments make your experience so comforting and put you at ease from the very start. You could not ask for a better place to be if you need medical assistance. If we could give it a 10 star rating we would. We greatly appreciate the entire staff and the kindness that was shown.

Worst Hospital ever. My nephew died during childbirth due to staff not acting on clear signs of him in distress. Fast forward, went in for heart attack symptoms and sat in the waiting room for an hour while the ER was slow. While sitting in a room in excruciating pain, no nurses checked on me to see if they could help make me comfortable. Meanwhile I am laying there listening to them talk about sushi and plans they had for the weekend. These people have zero care for your comfort or health and complete the bare minimum to avoid being sued. If you can, go outside of craven bc you might not check out of this hospital.

The worst place to even go and receive treatment from. I really don’t think they actually help anybody at all the way they be having patients stacked on top of each other. I wouldn’t send a fly in there to be seen. I literally had to take out my own Iv today just because they wouldn’t even take it out for me when I asked the nurse she said give me a sec then proceeded to keep me waiting till she seen I had took it out and blood was everywhere. I’m currently 5 months pregnant and instead of them sending me to wait all morning long in a bed in L&D they kept me downstairs in intake with 4-5other patients on a small uncomfortable chair for hours and didn’t say a word to me until I was ready to go. Worst hospital in the world and they wonder why I refused to have any of my babies birth there

IF YOU ARE HAVING A MEDICAL EMERGENCY AND WISH TO SURVIVE IT, DO NOT COME TO THIS ER! I've received medical care all over the country, and this is by far the worst. You will wait tens of hours to be taken back in the Emergency Room, and staff will not give you the heads up on these long and dangerous wait times. If you care about your loved ones, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY!!!

Drs are ignorant rude and very informative. They talk down to you yell at you and refuse to answer your questions even when it’s regarding your treatment Nurses are confused one tells you to do one thing and another comes yelling at you to do something else because “that’s not how we do it here” A nurse lied about what she said to agree with a co worker. You ask to make a complaint and you are told someone is coming up in just one minute yet no one comes and the treatment to you and your loved ones gets worse. I would not send my worst enemy here if it was the only building still standing.
