Went in and was told my insurance was out of network and I would be paying 2-3x what I would be for in network.

I have insurance from Baptist Health employee network. I thought it was a little surprising that the Baptist health affiliated urgent care would be out of network for the Baptist health insurance. So I logged in on the insurance website and it said this care spot was in network Tier 1, the highest tier. When I went to Care Spot’s website it said they accepted my insurance. When I called my insurance to confirm what the copay would be for this location, they confirmed it was in network Tier 1. So now I’m having to delay my medical care because they don’t know how to handle basic insurance checks.

The nurse practitioner was an absolute gem, she was very knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. We need more caregivers like her in this world. I'm getting on up in age and I realize even more so the older I get, how important it is to have the right person in the right position at any company, corporation, healthcare facility, etc... She is definitely a keeper, and you all are very fortunate to have found her. I cannot remember her name, some things don't work as well as before when you get up up to and beyond my age. However I have kept her in my prayers ever since I came to see y'all that day. Both her and the little lady that was the receptionist, she was very professional and sweet as well. Even though I live about 10 miles from the Orange Park location where you're at I will truly take the extra time to travel to that Orange Park location to get expert care as I did on this visit. Urgent care can be a stressful environment for sure. However the staff and team remained calm and respectful from start to finish. They serve a high demand of patients and I don't think they disappointed me in any way.

Absolutely horrible back nurse and doctor left me and my child sitting in the lobby with noone in the lobby or any patients in the building for over 40 mins and we are still waiting as im typing this! Dont waste your time go somewhere else.

I took my sick child here for a scheduled appointment. Got here on time and watched everyone who came in after me be seem before me. The fact I make an appointment and walk-ins are taken before my appointment sounds like a scam. Take everyone who walks in first to avoid them leavening and put appointments on back burners. I am currently waiting in the lobby with a hour and 15 min wait with an appointment. I will be using a different urgent care forever on.

Took my son here since we’re having problems with his PC doctor… Well, not really so much the doctor, but Angel Kids pediatrics on Normandy are extremely rude at the front desk. So we took him here because he had a painful spot on his upper thigh/groin area that we thought was a hernia. The wait time didn’t take long and the doctor was extremely nice. He was very professional and understanding and would 1000% return again.

Generally always a good experience! There was one time we went for a sports physical and the NP didn’t examine my child just enjoyed her hair. Otherwise always a good experience.
