Both doctors are so nice and take the time to listen to you, which, now a days, is a pretty rare thing. Yes, you will wait longer then usual, but once back in the room with either one of them, you receive there undivided attention. In my experience, the Average wait time in the waiting room is around 15-30 minutes. Once in the doctors room, I waited up to 15 minutes, sometimes a little longer. But remember, good things come to those who wait.

I love Dr. Powar & Meka! I have been going to them for years. Yes, sometimes the wait is long but that’s because they are actually listening to you and your needs. The staff has been nothing but professional to me. Sometimes the best care takes time.

My first visit, I had an hour+ wait. It was weird because there were only 4 patients in waiting room (we were there when they opened). Once in the room, I saw why the wait was a little longer than normal. Dr Meka actually spends time listening, explaining and answering every question. My health is not good, so I see many doctors and Dr Meka is the ONLY one who seems to really, really want to help you. My other doctors are great, but it's more of in-and-out type visits. The nurse (Tracy) is great, as is the entire staff.

I hope tracy receives the same type of medical treatment for the way she treated us. Unprofessional mean & trying to get rid of us as patients. I hope also dr.meka receives the same type of medical care for how he let tracy get away with treating us the way she did. As a patient you're not allowed to ask questions for why you're waiting for nearly 4 hours. Tracy embarrassed me our last visit. She couldn't even act professional & call me by my name. like she did other patients. She was always mean & unprofessional to us for some reason.

I was the first client scheduled for the day at 1:00 pm... Waited in room until 2:00 and walked out unseen. This Doctor has absolutely no consideration for his clients. While he sits in his office, with a full waiting room of patients... "King Gastroenterologist of Opelika" can't be bothered............ So rude.. I've be seeing Gastroenterologist for 20 years... And never waited longer then 20 minutes in the room... I rather drive to Atlanta.. And plan to...

Family member's appointment at 10:00am. Not seen until noon. Kind of hard to leave a good review when you wait this long just to watch countless pharmaceutical relresentatives waltz out with a giant smile... Schedule late, or find another gastro doc.
