Caminar is a forerunner in addressing the need for mental health services across the board. One day we will look back in disbelief that we did not care for our mental and behavioral health the way we do for physical health. For now, Caminar's programs provide much needed counseling and support services for our youth, addresses the violence and abuse in our homes, supports people in their recovery from addictions, makes the transition to community college a reality for the people we serve, connects our people to meaningful work, provides relevant levels of case management for behavioral health conditions AND since 75% of those in our programs arrive homeless, provides supported housing options as well as transitional and crisis residential treatment.
