Upon recent engagement I see that their are set agendas regardless of the emotional impact it has on children. They can clearly see what impact it is having on a child. They can see the relationship bond with the parent. They do what they are told regardless of morals, values, and impact. It is clearly not about the kids. It is not the pro and cons of having the child without a parent. I can say my personal growth has been large. Before, I would assume you had to be using drugs heavily, neglecting a child, or actually abusing them. Now, I see that this is infact false. It is shame that they know how traumatizing it is , but stick to an agenda instead of impacts. I know that every caseworker could not possibly this way. Sometimes the removal of children is unnecessary and instead they do destruction to these kids. They disregard them and the parents. I am not saying everyone is bad awful there. Some people probably really do care in the agency. In fact I have met some empowering women. However, I have also seen others that put morals and values aside.

Called to report a concern. The worker I was speaking to audibly sighed and put me on hold. When she came back, I began describing what is going on whe she cut me off mid sentence to tell me they don't handle this and why don't I call the police. I tried to explain that I hadn't even finished saying what I was concerned about when she interrupted me again with a tone to essentially say the same thing. I basically said thanks for nothing and hung up. Nobody likes CPS and I didn't really want to involve them, except it seemed necessary. Now I guess this kid I was concerned with may or may not be ok, who knows now.

Get better customer service skills. A joke of an experience for a social service organization dealing with sensitive family issues.

These ppl are no help my son and I have begged for help with his child he has left the mom and bf at the time let my son's oldest die while in their care now she allowing this child starve and go with head lice. She has 6 kids and don't care for none of them #1 her mom has #2 dead 3 here with dad #4 gave away to sister and 5 & 6 dad and his mom has them . The mom is with a woman now she's moves from house to house partner to partner do you know what these ppl say not their jurisdiction when mom lives in their county ok so when I bury another grandchild I'll own this place!!

I’m get a letter about 3 times a year from them saying there is a child that I’m related to and would like to find them a home and get them out of the child care system. When I call no one ever gets back to me. They don’t seem to care at all if the child gets help. Should be ashamed

Interestingly my review was removed so I’ll keep rewriting it.THEY ILLEGALLY record people without their knowledge and did a “forensic interview “ on my child that I’ve never seen to this day. They DO NOT stop abusers, they are the PLAYGROUND for the real abusers to play!!

I tried to call them .. for my daughter ..where her mom has custody .of her .13 yr old .cause of her lies .!!! And this woman .is selling percocets ..for yrs ..and smoking dope .every day ..and they havnt paid one bit of attention what I said ..!! I left the name of her .and talked to .them havnt heard nothing yet!!!!!

Not a perfect agency but one full of people dedicated to children and their families. This is tough, mostly thankless and at times gut-wrenching work. Employees are hardly adequately compensated for their worth.
