Dr. Evan Burke has given me back my mobility and confidence by teaching me about how my body works in ways that make sense to me. My strength and balance have improved so much that I am no longer using a cane. His individually designed "work outs" are posted with video instruction and commentary right to my email daily. Dr. Burk's practice is a private facility not associated with a large clinic. It is one-on-one. He sits with you and talks to you and listens to you. He is truly a coach and has improved my overall mobility health far beyond what I ever thought possible. He gives hope and results.

I cannot recommend more highly Burke Therapy and Wellness. From day one Evan created a unique physical therapy regimen that took into consideration my concerns and questions. Evan has a small and focused practice that allows for individual attention; in my case,a sciatica attack that had me bed ridden and consulting surgeons.
Evan works with his patients taking into consideration both their physical and mental concerns/abilities. Even after my release, he developed a continued therapeutic routine for my continued well-being and followed up both online and via phone.

I have Parkinson’s, and Dr. Burke was the second Physical Therapist I had gone to. The first physical therapist was not very attentive, and just had me in a room with a few other people. Their idea of therapy was to give me a piece of paper and send me home with exercises which did not help me very much.
When I went to Dr. Burke, I was thinking it was going to be more of the same, but I was very encouraged to see how he worked with me one on one. Dr. Burke tailored my PT to me personally, he pushed me when I needed it and told me to hold back when he saw it was too much. One of my biggest problems with Parkinson’s was my unsteadiness, and it was getting more and more difficult for me to get up and down from a sitting position. Dr. Burke was able to really help me strengthen my muscles by doing various exercises, not just in the office, but he would email me specific exercises that I could do at home. that all really helped strengthen me and made a huge difference in my ability to be independent. One thing that was really great, was that he has short videos of each of the exercises he sends not just a piece of paper, so I was able to follow the exercises perfectly. Dr. Burke truly cares about his patience and is able to give great results. I would highly recommend him to anybody needing physical therapy. After a couple of months of thinking my knee pain would go away on its own, I decided to seek help. There were many positive reviews on NextDoor for Evan Burke, so I decided to give him a try. I have had success with PT before with other doctors and other conditions, so was not hesitant.

From the start of the journey, everything was flawless. First...someone actually answers the phone when you call. Thank you, Kim. You are awesome! It did not take months to get my first appointment.

Second...Dr. Burke's approach to the problem areas is a breath of fresh air. He listens to your concerns, what you have tried in the past and what you would like to see as an outcome. From there, he starts to formulate a plan for you. Of course, a plan always includes exercises. The app he uses, TrueCoach.co, is such a game changer. Each exercise day he sends an email with a link to the app. The app shows a short video of him demonstrating the exercise. SOOOO much better than the paper copies I have received in the past. The app also allows for conversations between visits. He always responds.

My experience with this practice has been excellent. I'm sure yours will be as well.

Posting for my father… I have had low back problems for years and have tried several physical therapy organizations for relief with mixed results. In November of 2021, I was diagnosed with a degenerative spine condition and my neurosurgeon recommended surgery. Rather than risk major surgery, I decided to try physical therapy one more time. I went Burke Therapy and Wellness with extreme shoulder and arm pain I had been dealing with for months. I could hardly lift my arm. In less than two weeks, I could tell a huge difference with his exercises and videos. By two months, my arm/shoulder was back to normal. Evan is amazing.
