One of my absolute favorite stores in Hoover! They go out of their way to help all of their customers! The lady in front of me had a ton of questions, and they tried to answer every one, even with the line being crazy. The store was packed, so it was a little crazy, but the products are great and the staff is friendly. They individually wrapped anything that was asked for. Could not recommend enough.

Buff City Soap in Hoover is my newest obsession! All the products are wonderful and smell so good - especially the laundry soap! The staff is always welcoming when I walk through the door. The manager was so wonderful and patient helping me find gifts for my "tough to buy for daughter" this past Xmas. I highly recommend this store!

This store is the absolute best!! I’ve absolutely loved every scent and product I’ve ever had but some of my favorite scents are All Hail the Queen, Coconut, and Good Morning Sunshine. Absolutely love all the soaps, body mists, foaming hand soaps, and detergents. The pleasant scents of these products uplifts my mood every single time I use them. The older lady in charge (older by comparison to the other staff..I think her name is Kristin) is always willing to go above and beyond to help me with whatever I need and always gives the best recommendations. I don’t often encounter people with her level of dedication and warmth, in any business..she is a true gem!!

I had a disappointing experience during my visit to your store on December 9th around 1:00 PM. There was two younger brunette girls working.

When I entered the store, none of the staff greeted me or acknowledged my presence. I walked around for about 10 minutes without being asked if I needed assistance or offered any help. This lack of engagement made me feel unwelcome as a customer.

Additionally, when I proceeded to the checkout, there was no interaction beyond the transaction itself. I was not asked if I found everything I needed or offered any courtesy typical of good customer service.

I value the products and convenience of your store, but this experience fell below the standard I expected. When I visited for the first time a few weeks ago, it was a great experience for my husband and I. Two older women helped us.
I hope you address this issue with the team to ensure future visits are more positive. I do feel like it was a racial issue and after looking at other low rated reviews. I see I am not the only person who feels this way

So sad. Should do better. But realistically, probably will not.

I cannot say enough about how much I love this store! First of all, I'm addicted to the products. I use the detergent, bath soap, oil, lotion, and body butter in Lemon Eucalyptus. I got my husband the Commando scent, now he won't use anything else! But most of all the staff makes it a pleasure to shop there. The blonde manager is SO helpful! She always answers all my questions and shows me the newest products. She also let me know about discounts I can get via text.

The Hoover location has come a long way since their manager, Kristen, started working there. Customer service is always on point! Even when they are busy they always greet you & will take the time to answer questions. I now pass by 2 locations to shop at Hoover. They always have a great selection of everything and love to help me come up with new scent combinations for my laundry detergent.

I love shopping at Buff City Soap in Hoover! The products are high quality and the staff are always super friendly and helpful. Even when it was busy during the holidays the staff went out of their way to assist with my purchases.
