My appointment with Dr. Shaffer was one of the best experiences with a healthcare provider I have ever had. He immediately made me felt cared for as a person and a patient, and communicated clearly and compassionately what the most important things for me to know were. He is clearly intelligent and up to date on the latest relevant literature, but beyond his clinical qualifications, he made me feel safe, listened to, and respected. Couldn't recommend more.

Also, his whole office was really great to work with. A nurse Kara helped me schedule all my follow-up appointments, and all the nurses and staff I worked with for check-in, intake, etc. were kind, very helpful, and respectful.
