I’ve been using Blackwater Health for a few months now. I have had a struggle finding a healthcare provider who was a great mix of professionalism and helpfulness for many years. It’s hard to find someone willing to listen to your history let alone apply the history to your actual care.

Adam does all of that and more. He has a great deal of knowledge and experience when it comes to autoimmune diseases which I find refreshing. He doesn’t see me as an individual who has issues that are just weight related like most doctors. Just because I’m overweight doesn’t mean all my issues are because of my weight. In my case my weight is a symptom not a cause. It makes me more willing to go get help knowing I won’t be weight shamed.

He listens and he cares. That’s priceless to me.

Adam (NP) has a lot of experience and is highly knowledgeable, and has above excellent "bedside manner." He actually took time to meet and speak with me, and to find out my health concerns, and educate me on what's going on. I wasn't passed around from receptionist to nurse to doctor like other clinics; I actually felt like a person here. Blackwater Health doesn't accept insurance, and therefore are not subject to the constraints and limitations that insurance providers impose on healthcare professionals, and instead it operates on cash prices which are far below those charged by traditional healthcare facilities. And because they're not part of a huge conglomerate, they aren't as heavily influenced by big pharmaceutical companies, and can prescribe meds as is actually necessary rather than what drives sales. Affordable, caring, efficient, and natural. The way healthcare is supposed to be! I highly recommend!!!
