this isn't a review of the medical medical services rendered... As they met my standards and the interaction was very positive.

The way this clinic handles billing is nothing short of fraudulent. Instead of mailing or calling you to inform you of a balance, they will simply wait, and send it off to collections. And then once you pay that they will send collections another bill for a late fee.

It doesn't matter if you insist on paying the full balance at the clinic on the day of...that's just how they operate. If you enjoy YEARS LATER surprise medical bills then this is the place for you.

My advice would be to pay out of pocket at this place, as little as you can trust you insurance company to tell the truth ...trust this place even less.

I needed a prescription refilled, and I'm away from home for a few weeks, unable to reach my primary care physician. They made it very easy to get an appointment with a physician who called in a prescription for me at 4 a.m. without ever having to go anywhere. Tele-health video calls are replacing in-person office visits, and I couldn't be happier. Finally, high-quality medical care on my terms and my schedule. I love this urgent care facility.

Horrible patient care appointment was scheduled at 12pm for a drug screening for employment still 1pm not taken back told the patient rep I needed the restroom and couldn’t hold it any longer if I can give my sample and wait and sign paper work she was rude and unprofessional. This place is ridiculous I schedule an appointment for a reason why am I waiting so long for a simple drug screening. Never again!!

Get prepared to sit around and wait at this place. If you thought you were going to come in to take a drug test, a physical and exit quickly then think again. You will be sitting around for hours. It is more like the DMV than a doctor’s office.

My daughter came in for pre-employment screening and a TB Test. The website mentioned that Bayside takes my PPO and did not list any exceptions. She walked in and was told that she couldn't use our insurance to cover the visit. One hundred dollars for the physical screening and $45 for the TB test. Ok, fine. They also have a policy that prohibits anyone who isn't a patient to come into the lobby. So, she had to come outside, bring my card and ID in to pay for the services, which took a little over twenty minutes. This wouldn't have been so bad if there was shaded parking. The entire process took about two hours, despite the low number of patients in the facility. Please add the disclaimers to your website so that it doesn't mislead patients regarding insurance, approximate wait times, etc.

The staff is very nice, however the wait times are extreme. I once waited to be seen for 3 hours in 9/10 excruciating pain, with zero estimated time or update. While one staff member went out to lunch, it was as if seeing me jogged her memory. She went back up to the window briefly and I was finally called to fill out paperwork after an hour. I have been twice with major debilitating infections and both times the PAs refused to give me antibiotics. So my suffering has just been extended.

This place is very professional arrival 10:49 am 07/02/24 for a pre employment drug screening appointment was set for 11am I was out by 11:20am very clean waiting area plenty of parking. I can’t endorse any other medical activity for time and visits but drug screening seems pretty in and out. Cool place

I have been here a few times. They never seem to accept the insurance once you arrive.
It's on my last experience I will no longer be going to the urgent care. There are other places nearby that are much better. Cleaner newer and more helpful than Bayside.
I specifically will not be going back because of their intrusive questionnaire and like a respect for privacy and HIPAA laws.
They want to know if you are vaccinated before they see you. They will still see you regardless of your vaccination status but they require you to answer.
I asked if they need me any vaccine. They then inquired about only the covid-19 vaccine with no interest if you have had any others. Not understanding why they would ask such a question, They claim they were just following orders And that I could take my business somewhere else if I don't want to answer the question. I went to a phenomenal urgent care on PCH. They did not ask such intrusive questions.
They made it clear that they are in private business which is more important than patient care. Capitalism wins again.
