The medical system overall needs an overhaul. We pay over $100 for a 10-minute visit and still end up with the same over-the-counter medicines.

Baycare – you need to do a better job handling your calls. Your front desk staff is so rude that it feels like a mistake to call you. We have been with you for more than a year, but it seems we may need to look elsewhere.

My son has a 101°F fever, and I asked if I could speak to a doctor. The reason I called is because he just recovered from a 104°F fever, and within days, his fever is back, which is unusual. The person on the phone said, "The doctor isn't available today, and all the doctors are completely booked. It's not 105°F or 108°F, so it can wait."

Context: I asked to speak to a doctor so that we could change his medication.

If health isn't important, then what is?

They ask patients to arrive 30 minutes early and delay their appointment by 45 minutes.

This is not a 1st time problem. It's always the same thing!

The first step to being respected is respect the patient.

We have been with BayCare Pediatrics in Lutz for almost 12 years, they are by far the best!! Anytime my kids have needed an appointment or if we needed paperwork; all I do is call and leave a message and I always get a response right back, the same day!! The staff are always extremely nice and very accommodating. I would never take my kids anywhere else!! Nurse Carla and Marie (front desk) are amazing, they have saved me many times weather it involved faxing referrals over immediately to other Dr's, getting an appointment the same day or having school forms signed and ready right away.

My husband’s been experiencing low blood sugar, mood changes, night sweats, nausea and shaking, so I insisted he be tested. (Our daughter is type 1) so we have some experience in symptoms and signs of an issue. I made an appointment with Shechtman 👎 to have him tested for diabetes or hypoglycemia. He brought his tester and records of his sugar levels. We were cash only customers, unfortunately no insurance until July. The doctor sent him to have some blood work done that didn’t include testing him for either condition. When we called the office back he was told insurance wouldn’t approve it without these tests first. We are cash customers!!! When we reached back out we received no call but a message on the patient portal. He said my husband didn’t even bring it up during the appointment. He made the appointment for this issue and brought his tester? Something is wrong but he seems to be more concerned about what insurance will approve than my husband. Rather he couldn’t even keep his patients straight before sending messages.
At this point we have no testing and he is told to just watch what he eats!!!! Doctor Shevhtman should be reported.
I would of been better off taking him to urgent care when his sugar was low and he had symptoms.

We've been with Dr. Chau for over 20 years. Both my kids have had the best care. Whether they were 3 or 13 she takes her time and talks with them. She is the best.

We were referred to Dr. Neil Surti a few years ago when our insurance changed and we absolutely love him and the staff here. Both our kiddos like him and he's gotten us through a lot. Definitely recommend bringing your kiddos here!

I wish I could leave no stars. I am a father to a 6 month old and my wife and I cake here for a check up and vaccinations. I as the father refused the vaccinations and did not want them for my son. But the doctor let my wife sign the paper and let it happen anyways. This place forces vaccinations on the other parent if one does not want it. Officer daughtery came with the Pasco sheriffs office was very rude and tried to have me arrested for speaking and using my freedom of speech. This place will have a lawsuit on them
