If you are tired of being just a number in a large chain pharmacy - If you want personal, friendly, compassionate, hometown care then this is the pharmacy for you. Shopping here brought me back to my childhood when the pharmacist knew the customers and cared in a personal way for them. I highly recommend BayStreet pharmacy.

The owner reached out to me both via phone and reply to this review. I’m happy to report that this truly did seem to be a one-off and we look forward to doing more business in the future! It ended up being my husband who went back to pick up the prescription and the pharmacist again acknowledged and apologized for the rocky start even to him. Thank you, Bay St. Pharmacy!

Hoping to be able to update this review as I seem to be in the minority of customers finding their experience with this pharmacy lacking. My experience wasn’t awful but it certainly wasn’t great.

I was sent by child’s dermatologist on a Friday morning to this particular pharmacy for a prescription for my five year old. My child’s doctor suggested I pop over to talk to them about it as it needed to made there, so that’s what we did.

I had barely given our name to a very pleasant man behind the drop off counter when a face-less woman starts yelling from behind another counter that it costs $55 for them to make it.

I say okay into the void and the man clarifies that I will pay. Yes, I am willing pay.

Then the face-less voice continues to yell that she has “no idea when it will be ready. Maybe Monday.”

Again, I say okay into the void because my child needs the prescription and I’m under the impression that this pharmacy is my only reasonable option.

I want to give this business the benefit of the doubt - we had just had a major storm that ravaged surrounding areas. We are all tired and on edge.

But yelling at a brand new customer that you have no idea when their child’s medicine will be ready without explanation and without the courtesy of speaking to me to my face makes repeat business or recommendations unlikely from us. It’s disappointing because I’d much rather give local shops our business - I had no idea this pharmacy even existed and was excited to shop small and perhaps use them for all our prescriptions.

The nice man offered no further explanations but he did offer to let my kid pick a prize out of their treasure box, which was very kind. We didn’t leave with any solid plan for getting medicine for said kid but at least she has a kazoo now.

Just when the things that are going on in our world that make you feel like people don’t care God sends angels to show you that there are people who do care . Bay Street Pharmacy is a center or care , in particular Kathy and the employees are some of the kindest people Ive met in Sebastian. They go out of their way to be helpful and really care about patient needs. People do not understand the importance of a good pharmacy and getting medications right its a very important piece of wellness that takes precision and care. Kathy looks out for the welfare of their patients and Im overwhelmed with gratitude for her. Bay Street has that hometown feel that the bigger pharmacies don’t they know their clients their families and they really do care. The Crew at Bay-Streat pharmacy are some of the nicest people you could have as your pharmacy. They always have your best interests at 💜.
We have been patrons for about 9 years now. They are professional and friendly. Always eager to great you and they really watch out for you. I’ve always appreciated their no non-sense attitude.
I’m glad for that aspect about that.
Never judgement always friendly wouldn’t go any where else. Actually I tried but it was the biggest mistake in a long time.
If your looking for a pharmacy for your medication needs I highly recommend trying them. You won’t leave once you see them work.
We have to say it’s like family after all this time.
