Do not recommend. I had a child in need for help. It took over a month to get on the calendar. After realizing that was not soon enough for my daughter to get the help she needed, I looked elsewhere. When I got the appointment notification from Dr Tallmans office, I called to cancel the appointment, about 30 hours prior to the appointment to which they said they wouldnt charge me for a late cancellation fee. I received a bill a week later for a $75 late cancellation fee. I called again and they said they would take care of it. I got a call today, saying its against their policy and I signed paperwork when I scheduled my daughters appointment. You can do what is right or you can do what Bay Area Pyschological does. I would not trust them to do the right thing. 🙁

My daughter has been has been seeing Ms. Tallman for over 5 years. She loves going to counseling and always comes out with new insights about who she is and the young woman she can be.

I don't think any of them are certified psychologists, but self proclaimed social workers. I began going once every 2 weeks but after about the 6th or 7th visit, I realized it was just me updating her with current events, with no actual help except "read this book" or "listen to this podcast". If self help had worked before, I wouldn't have began going to counseling. I quit going, but shortly after my son experienced a traumatic event and his school referred him to go. I stayed open minded, for him, but yesterday was my breaking point with their office when I noticed they charged my card $114 for nothing! We hadn't missed any appointments, there was no notification of any type from them, and it set my account with an overdraft fee after bills were withdrawn! When my son asked why I was upset, he said "Mom to be honest they weren't helping anyways." This place is a scam, and will steal your money.

They were very good with my son and all the testing they did for him to help us get him diagnosed properly. They have payment plans that have been very helpful for this single mom who was just trying to get her son the best care possible. They listened to all of my concerns and took them to heart. Have recommended them to other people with some of the same issues I was facing!

They make you wait so long in the morning I don't understand why. They are psychological doctors who have counseling assistants who have front desk assistants. And if Ashley at front still works there, she's rude. They break up these appointments to file for insurance claims ($$). They don't seem to connect with patients.

Dr.jennifer Tallman was a great help for my child ..she understood him and help us to taken out of the depression now he is a happy kids again and busy with his activities...
