Dr.Cody and her team are amazing. Her clinic feels calm and peaceful. She treats her patients with respect and compassion. I tell all of my friends to go to Dr.Cody. They agree that she a great doctor to trust with your care.

If you are looking for a caring clinic to spend time hearing you out, you probably do not want to spend your time here. If you just needed a quick fix for something then it it would be totally fine. However, this physician is seemingly ready to get you out of her office as quickly as possible. It is not worth going in to the details because we all have off days and that includes healthcare professionals, but I will certainly not be returning and would have preferred to not have ever gone in the first place due to the rude treatment that I have experienced each time. I am hopeful that this can change for future patients.

Dr. Cody is a wonderful provider and her staff are very friendly and attentive. One Saturday night we actually called the after hours line and they were able to page Dr. Cody who immediately responded. She listens thoroughly to me and my husband and does not push any concept/idea/treatment that we do not agree with.
The nurse and front desk staff are also amazing at working with us on our schedules and talking with us when we have questions.

I'm not sure the purpose of the negative reviews, we love this office.

Dr. Cody didn’t seem to care about my needs as a patient. My last visit was only 5 minutes despite the fact that I’ve been telling her how bad my knee has been hurting. Prescribed me some that pills that only help when I’m lying down. I work 12 hour shifts they don’t help while I’m working and I asked to be referred to a gynecologist she said they would call me it’s been 2 weeks. Still no call. I finally decided to see another doctor. Honestly I felt racially profiled!

A 1 star is wwaaayyyy to generous!!!
If u want a legit PCP try ANYONE but Dr Cody!!!! A veterinarian would treat you better, show SOME empthay, and at the VERY LEAST have some time for you!!!
She was actually RUDE to me!
......in my 5 min appointment!
I'm 55 and always thought Baptist Health was aat the top of their game. They really missed the mark here

The atmosphere is inviting, Front desk is outstanding, appointments are always available same-day and they always treat any of my medical concerns with the most priority no matter how big or small. I can message my Dr's nurse on my-chart patient portal and typically have a response with-in the hour if not earlier. As for Dr. Cody, I have never seen a more hands-on, proactive physician. She actually cares for her patients and makes it a point to get to know you. It's been a while since I've seen a doctor who didn't rush me in and out and then throw a bill in my face while I still had so many questions and untreated medical concerns. I have been seeing them for about a year now and Baptist Health Family Clinic-Hillcrest will have me as a lifelong patient as long as I'm in the area. This is the place to be if you want proactive, professional and passionate health-care staff!

Very rude staff. Dr Mackenzie was an incredible doctor but he has moved on. The current doctor, Dr Cody, used to work in the ER and at least had the mindset to match the last time I went to see her. Hopefully things have changed.

When I made my first appointment here, I thought I was going to see Dr. McKenzie -- but they are just switched to Dr. Cody. Now, any other reviews are completely innactiate since it's a totally new doctor. I needed needed to be put back on a previous medication for job reasons. She was unwilling to help. The next day I needed an early refill on a non/contolled substance -- which was also denied. Obviously, she still has the poor bed-side manners theat she obviously used in the ER before transitioning to clinical primary care. I would NOT let my family use her either. If there was such thing as a "negative" star -- that's what she would get from me. Obviously, she doesn't realize we'are the ones paying her pay check!!!
