I was a patient here at this clinic which I always knew it as the “Residency Clinic”
.. South Baldwin Medical Group Family Medicine Residency Practice Phone: (251) 424-1232. I was a patient for 3 + years, ever since I first moved here 3 + years ago. THEY RECENTLY HAVE DISMISSED ME AS A PATIENT?! I found this out when I had to call the on call service. I did not receive a phone call, text, I wasn’t notified in anyway what so ever that I could be dismissed as a patient for “no shows”. Most of my appointments I called them and canceled if I could not make it.
I’m a partially disabled mother of a 4 year old, I live with my mother whom is 74 years old and help care for her as well.
I begged to be given another chance with my he clinic, BEGGED no joke. I explained my situation and most recent circumstances as well (my 4 year old has had strep throat for 3 weeks now). I’m now sitting in the urgent care that is costing my mother (I have no income at the moment) this urgent care visit is costing $150 plus whatever they charge in addition for running a strep test for me.
I’m in shock that the primary care facility I had been a patient of for over 3 years has just dismissed me, without any kind of warning like I would have definitely been more cautious about not missing or having to cancel/reschedule my dr appointments had I known that I could be dismissed as a patient due to this.
I’m shocked and in disbelief at the “managers” complete and utter lack of empathy, lack of grace, and overall cold hearted attitude regarding this situation, aka dismissing me as a patient.
I’m still just absolutely in shock over this and very hurt by this of crse. To my knowledge I had absolutely no issue with any of the staff here. I was very happy going to this clinic for my care. I had no issues?!
They said they mailed a letter to me regarding my “dismissal” or well termination of care, however I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A LETTER, post card,
Phone call, text, email or any of form of communication from their end regarding dismissing me as a patient and explaining the reasoning for this.
I would think and expect a WARNING that being dismissed at a patient is a possibility for missed and/ot rescheduled appointments. Nothing was ever said to me, at all what so ever regarding this! So I thought okay, they’re great!!! They understand that my life just gets really crazy sometimes and there’s no problem.
I thought wrong obviously! But a heads up and I would have corrected this problem I was causing unintentionally!

DO NOT use Dr. Kenzie Hendrix. She is the worst. Went for my 6 month follow up today and she didn’t take time to listen to anything and pretty much labeled me as a drug addict because I asked to get back on my anxiety medication that I was on for years but have been off of for a few years. I understand the way the world is now but the people that truly need medications, NEED THEM. I have never done drugs that are not prescribed to me in my life! She treated me like I was a low life. Asked me if I needed refills on my regular acid reflux medication and then walked out! I will never use her again and I’m reluctant to even go back to this place if this is how they treat their long time patients. I will be reporting this to the Board of Medicine today. That’s negligence of medical care.

RUN AWAY!!! This place should have their license revoked, or at least be investigated by the State! My wife was referred to them back in August for a health issue that we were both very concerned about. They referred her for tests and a biopsy, which was done about a week later. After a couple of weeks without getting a call with the results, she called them and was told they didn't have them yet, but they'd get them and call her. This went on for MONTHS, she'd call, and they'd blow her off. Finally, after countless attempts to get her results, we drove to where the tests were done in another town, and got them ourselves. The hospital told us the results were ready back in August, but were never requested! We hand delivered them to SBMG, and had them make copies for the dr. The office person again said someone would call, but they never did! Finally, after another 2 week wait, something happened that really crossed the line. In the mail was a bill, for $2.77, for the paper they used to make the copies of the test results!!! I took their bill and went to their office the next day, and demanded to speak with someone. Now, at no time was I threatening to them, but I was firm. When they said there wasn't anyone available, I told them I could wait. The girl on yhe desk went away for a few minutes, then came back and told me to have a seat in the waiting area, and someone would come and speak with me. I sat and waited, I DID NOT cause any trouble, or speak to the other patients, i just sat quietly and waited. After about 20 minutes, a security guard came in and went to the window, then came to me and said I had to leave! When I asked why, he said I was causing a disturbance! I turned to the other patients and asked if I had xaused any disturbance, and they said no, I hadn't said a word. I told the security guard to call the police, and started filming. After about 10 minutes, I told the guard that I would leave, and he escorted me to the front door. As I left, 2 police cars pulled up as I walked to my car, but didn't bother to talk to me. This is UNBELIEVABLE!!! not only did they send security after me, but they STILL haven't called my wife with her results, but they sure made sure we paid her copay and deductible! We ended up going to her primary care Dr to have him explain the results, which were OK, thank God. But suppose it had been cancer, that was treatable 4 months ago, but not now? Everyone in that office needs to be fired, and the State really needs to investigate this place, people's lives are at stake. But all they care about is making sure you pay them up front. DO NOT TRUST YOUR LIFE TO THESE PEOPLE,!

First visit to find a new primary care doctor, I met with DR. ORM. EXCELLENT service. My DR. of over 20 years retired so I was nervous about a new doctor. my experience was perfect from the time I walked in until I walked out with a follow up appointment. I cant say enough about the friendliness of the staff and the excellent attention from DR. ORM, I did not feel like a number, I felt he was serious about my welfare. he did not try to shuffle me out quickly as so many other Doctors do. I was a patient not a number, I spent a good 30 minutes with him as I am a new patient so it takes a bit longer on first visit. I highly recommend this office for now, we will see what the future brings.

This place is amazing! The front desk ladies are very helpful and amazing. The nurse I had was awesome and very friendly! Dr. Fry was fantastic...he listened to all of my concerns and talked TO me, not at me, about each one.. He made me feel very comfortable!! I highly recommend this Dr office!

I had an appointment today with Dr. Cody Daum. It was my first visit to this Clinic and I was impressed from the time I checked in through the time of my examination. Check-in was a breeze and you could not ask for a better doctor than Dr. Daum. As a 79 year old patient, with several issues, I found that I was truly blessed to have Dr. Daum as my new Physician, as well as such an attentive staff.

I had an appointment scheduled virtually and they cancelled. They did not contact me to tell me of the cancellation. They have my number and email. Instead I find out after I try to join the appointment. If I had known ahead of time I could have made other arrangements. Now I am still sick and wasted 2 days sitting around waiting for this appointment. What's worse is the lady I talked to on the phone says there was a note that said that I "should try Urgent Care." This is how they treat patients at this place. Will never go back.

Dr. Nguyen is a very kind professional and knowledgeable physician. She is compassionate and listens to you like no other physician I have had. I was finally given a correct diagnosis for a disease that led to finally getting the right treatment that no other physician could associate with my symptoms. I feel like I am in good hands and I can say I highly recommend this group.
