Ms. Jean and Chad were both so amazing. Ms. Jean was so informative at my initial appointment and so helpful finding the perfect fit mask for my CPAP. She has went above and beyond to help me take care of everything. Chad has been super helpful with ordering my supplies and getting me the mask that I needed even when they don't normally carry that particular one.

Was mailed a bunch of supplies that I did not order or need. Was charged by my insurance company and had to fight to get refunded for copay and from insurance. When I talked to them about this they couldn’t really come up with a straightforward answer. This is an assumption but it seems like this is a business practice of theirs so that they can bill the insurance company for supplies.
The keep calling me to tell me I had supplies ready for pickup but when I would go up there they would tell me that they weren’t ready to be filled for another 3 weeks.
Had to call and have them remove me from their call list.

If there were an option for ZERO stars, that's what they would be given.

Recently diagnosed with apnea and was having a difficult time with the machine, after a difficult appointment getting the machine. I was just a person on the conveyor belt for them at that appointment - here's this, sign this, if you don't use it we'll bill you $1000. I had many questions, about insurance coverage, about monthly cost, about how to use, about why it was blowing so hard.. and it was like pulling teeth to get answers.

The lady was manhandling the nose pillows then expected me to put them in my nose to "test" it out. The air was so forceful I had to open my mouth so I didn't choke on it and all she kept doing was joking about how I'll be back for a chin strap. She determined I needed "medium" nose pillows but only gave me small/extra small and 2 large/XL sizes. The medium I tested out I threw away because she was not wearing gloves when touching it and wanting me to wear it after that.

After trying to use the machine for a couple weeks - starting at night with it on and waking up with it off - I sent an email.

No response.

I sent a follow-up email.

No response.

I sent a follow-up email but this time to what is apparently the owner's email address as listed on the website.

Still no response.

I went back to the sleep doctor to find a solution. The air was blowing so hard my lungs were physically hurting and I felt like I was choking on the air. It was pushing air faster than I breathe.

My sleep doctor turned the prescription down but it was still too much. I could blow dry my hair with how hard it was blowing. I let the doctor listen to it and she recommended I take it back to Baker for an adjustment because even she thought it was blowing too hard.

So I went back to them. They were so rude and unhelpful. I'm explaining the trouble and the guy was just "well it's on the machine here and blowing a 4 so I can't help you" and when I was telling him how it was physically hurting my lungs, he just shrugged and said "oh well". There was no attempt by them to help figure out a solution and they did not care about the trouble.

Seems like they're only in business to get that paycheck from your insurance company and could care less about you as a patient and helping with your medical issue.

Save yourself some time and frustration, and probably some money too and go to another durable goods company in Central Arkansas. They are not the only ones, but they are definitely the only ones who don't give a hoot about you and will do nothing to help. Wish I had read the reviews before going there.

Badly overcharged for an AirSense 10 CPAP machine ($1450.00 for machine alone) that can be purchased brand new online for $370-$600. Plus over priced supplies. Paid more with Baker (AND INSURANCE COVERAGE) than if I bought the exact one with supplies online out of pocket with no insurance. I am all for supporting local businesses but overcharging like that is just wrong. I truly hope they change their ways.

Closed on Saturday. That’s just one issue. Another is that they will often forget to ship my order when it’s phoned in. This last time after two weeks of no delivery my wife called and was told I needed an updated prescription. They claimed they had sent my doctor a request for one. He told me there was never one received. However, he did so anyway and still no supplies. My mask is worn out. Same exact thing happened last year. I’m going to just get everything from Amazon from now on. It’s a lot cheaper and I can use my HSA card. Also…why not call me and ask about my prescription status? I’ve been a good customer. Or so I thought.

I was traveling thru Conway on the first night of a 7 day trip. I realized at 4:30 PM that when packing my older CPAP machine I had neglected to also pack the power supply cord with transformer. I quickly found Baker Medical and contacted Mitchell there by telephone. I described my dilemma and he said he would search the store to see what he could find. I quickly grabbed my machine and headed to Baker. When I arrived Mitchell had found two components that make up the power supply for an older CPAP but we did not know if it would power mine. He reviewed the power data on the transformer and my machine and felt that it was compatible. We plugged it in and worked! I was on my way before 5 PM, rescued by the offer of help by Mitchell at Baker Medical!! Thank you very much!!

The lack of follow up by the CPAP staff is almost dangerous. They promise a lot, but they are short on delivery. They act as if they don’t care because they have no need for customers. They are very slow in using their computer system and reading previous notes. I do not recommend them.
