Absolutely the best primary doctors in the valley! They are kind, knowledgeable and most importantly take the time to listen to your health concerns and help you find the answers or treatments needed.

The new office and staff is wonderful! You will not be disappointed with the care you receive here and how comfortable you will feel. You will definitely recommend them to your family and friends after your first visit, guaranteed!

I was new to Palm Desert and researched many GP practitioners. I finally selected Dr. Catherine Bianchi of Baikie Bianchi Family Medicine. The BEST decision I have made since my move here! Dr. Bianchi is very easy to communicate with and responds beyond quickly. She is very knowledgeable and extremely up to date on all medications and procedures. Her office staff is friendly and I am always able to somehow get an appointment when needed. She is prompt about prescription orders and refills. Dr. Bianchi is so easy to discuss any of my medical issues or general questions with, in person and via their easy portal. I am 54 years old and have never been more pleased and able to recommend such an amazing doctor and practice! Thank goodness she’s younger, because I’m never changing my GP doctor again!

We just moved to La Quinta in April and were dreading trying to find a good primary care physician. Our PCP in North Idaho left the practice and 2,000 patients were looking for a new MD. That was 19 months ago.

Fast forward to my visit with Dr. Baikie last week. O. M. G. I have never been so happy with my doctor and I’m over 70. She took the time to go over every concern. Her PA was also great, as was her staff. Within 24 hours I was contacted by every doctor she had recommended.

My only hesitation about writing this review is that I don’t want her to get so busy that she gets overwhelmed and leaves us. She is a true gem here in the Gem of the Desert.

One of the best experiences I’ve had with a doctor and the entire office. I really didn’t want to leave and could talk to the Doctor all day. That’s how comfortable and SAFE she makes you feel. Run don’t walk to be seen here. From the minute you make the appointment to when you leave, it feel like your leaving family. Wonderful group of people.

Dr. Bianchi may be a good physician (she comes highly recommended and I wanted to become a new patient), but her office staff is incompetent, and have no clue how to work with insurance. Gladys, the front office staff person, couldn't verify whether they accept Blue Cross PPO insurance (I don't think she knew herself) and strung me along for weeks via emails and phone calls, saying she was trying to verify. She was confused and had no idea how to handle a straightforward insurance verification process. I don't know if it's a training issue or lack of experience or what, but this family practice wasted my time. I gave up on becoming a new patient with them, as I can only imagine their incompetence with invoicing, billing insurance, securing prior authorizations for diagnostics, etc. Seems they are only accepting Medicare patients, and maybe that's the only patients they want. I'd steer clear of this practice until they hire new staff who are capable of doing their jobs. It doesn't inspire confidence in these physicians - that they're either unaware their office is being run like this, or are ok with it.
