Overall, It was a seamless experience. I ordered online and picked it up. FYI: Store is small so check inventory online. Parking is easy. Enter off Avenue of the Stars and bear right for Macy’s. Park near Macy’s section. Take the escalator up from Macy’s (orange). Go right and then bear first left at the directory screen. The store is on your right. These directions should be on their site but are not. The UX and content of the website site could be better. The store employee sounded a little tired. Probably gets the same dumb questions all day. Write out a script. Love the brand but it needs to be a tad more customer centric. Sincerely, a marketing veteran.

I bought 4 items from Gerardo when I was just visited for a free travel gift with a consultation. I am very very frugal but when Gerardo impressed me both his immense grace + HUGE competency, he won me over to Aveda products.

Gerardo went above and beyond to care for me + for my hair. As a person of color I did not know Aveda made "Black-friendly" products. Gerardo did my hair with Aveda products and made it look exactly as I desire. So I bought 4 items today.

Gerardo is an OUTSTANDING Associate at Aveda for manifold reasons and in particular because he is an informed staff member and extended to me very friendly service.

Gerardo is personable and shared tips with me on best using the products. He wants me to actually use and cares that I have an excellent experience with Aveda products when I get home.

Gerardo really stood above my expectations of my consultation today and was uber patient and kind.

If there is any way Aveda can recognize or reward Gerardo for his professionalism and being a phenomenal ambassador for Aveda it would be very appreciated. Gerardo is a star!

Got the free scalp check and the woman that did it was amazing and so generous ! They check your scalp and then give you samples according to the needs of your hair, so that you can test them and come back later to buy if you like it! Will definitely come back 😊😊

I love Aveda products and having a store to ask questions from an informed staff makes browsing and shopping so much easier. My friend and I walked in and our time spent with Sunny(? ), I think that was her name was so fun! I learned a lot about the hair growth products and was given a sample. All products smell wonderful and stays with you, as if you are in a spa to unwind, relax and rejunvinate. Bravo Aveda for making us all feel wonderful throughout this pandemic. The small shop is serene upon entering. There was a promotion, so my friend took advantage of it to receive a gift! My friend also reached a level of points and received another gift /goodie bag!

Good selection for what isn’t one of their largest stores. Though they’re often out of one of the many things I go into get and it’s a different thing every time. I love the brand itself and will always be loyal but employees at this store could be better. Every time I go in it just seems as if they don’t care to be good at customer service or be cheerful. Maybe it’s me or I just have bad luck.

The people there were so helpful and talked to me about my hair and how to go about it. Definitely recommend a visit if you have trouble figuring out your hair.
