I am so pleased with the care my husband has received here. I was afraid of admitting him to a skilled nursing center since he has a peritoneal drain. Thank goodness for nurses like Angel W. who took care of the drains for us in a very professional manner. We received personalized and compassionate support from Candice in Social Services and she helped in so many ways. Thank goodness for these two employees.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional care my elderly mother received at Aspire Physical Recovery Center. From the moment she arrived, the staff demonstrated a level of compassion and professionalism that truly made a difference in her recovery journey. As her daughter and caregiver, I too was welcomed to stay with her and be a part of her recovery journey. I honestly can say that I have been treated with respect and pretty much like part of the Aspire Family.

The in-house therapy sessions were tailored to her individual needs, and the therapists were not only skilled but also incredibly patient and encouraging. They took the time to explain each exercise and its purpose, making her feel comfortable and motivated throughout the process. The therapists were more than happy to answer any questions O had as well as offer guidance to me to aide in her continued progress once we were able to go home.

The environment at Aspire is warm and welcoming, which helped my mother feel at ease during her stay. The staff went above and beyond to ensure her comfort and happiness, and it was clear that they genuinely care about their patients. Of course this is not a hospital so I realize that the staff has many patients to assist but they did their best to meet our every need. Sometimes I did have to double check on a few things but feel like that is not unreasonable because I’ve seen the nurses and staff work to do their best. People just need to realize that this is not a hospital but a safe place to recover, receive therapy to be able to safely prepare and recover to get back home. I placed my father in Aspire for rehabilitation and when my mother had a bad fall and required more from leaving the hospital, Aspire was my only place I wanted her to go. I have experience at other facilities and Aspire is the best.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The meals are good but sometimes were lukewarm, however if you want your food hotter, the staff will even microwave it for you. Aspire just needs funding for the cart warmers like the hospitals have. I spoke to administration about it and they were attentive and understanding. As far as quality of food, I was satisfied with the meals and variety served. A dietician specialist met with us upon arrival to ensure my mother’s nutrition needs were met and was able to have alternative selections to accommodate any restrictions she had. As a guest of my Mother, I was able to purchase meals during my stay at an extremely affordable price.

We had a situation arise with the insurance company (that had nothing to do with Aspire) not doing what they initially stated. They were only covering a certain time frame and no more. This meant my mother had to go home before we felt she was her best. However, Ms. Candace who was her case manager made sure to speak with me and provide guidance as to what our options were and showed true compassion for our situation. Upon prayerful consideration, I filed for an appeal as per my right to do so, but unfortunately lost. I know for a fact Aspire did all they could do to assist me. Upon preparing to discharge, all of the staff made sure my mother and I knew all that we needed in order to continue with her care and progress. Ms. Candace took care of helping me get the medical equipment required and I was able to get everything delivered the day before mom’s to be discharged. However, the care my mom received until we had to go home was wonderful and she was making progress!

Aspire Physical Recovery Center is a beautiful place and I witnessed every day just what all is done to run the place and ensure the best of care. I am so remarkably thankful for the support and care she received. I highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking compassionate and effective in-house rehabilitation & therapy for their loved ones. I pray God blesses each and every individual for all they did for my mother and I.

My mother and I had a very pleasant experience with the staff at this facility. They did an excellent job making my mother feel welcome and beyond that were very professional and helpful in her recovery process. Most facilities were afraid to accept her case based on the wounds she had. Her care here was above and beyond what she received in the hospital because they had the time to devote to her care.

I would not send my worst enemy to this place! If I could rate this facility properly it would be a negative number. The therapists are great but the nursing care at this facility is non-existent! My loved one was allowed to sit in his own waste for over 3 hours many times to the point he had to go back to the hospital in such bad shape he was close to death! When he begged to be sent to the hospital they refused to do so. I complained to the director of nursing about his care and nothing changed. When I complained to the facility director he just smiled at me!! There is no compassion for the patients at Aspire.

My brother was there for his recovery from having surgery. The facility is nice . The nursing staff is sorry. If you don't want to work go home. I wouldn't recommend this recovery center. To my worst enemy. The administration needs to visit unexpectedly and you can see for yourself. The attitude of the staff. Not all the nurses are bad. There were maybe 3 that were really caring. The cna there were two or three that were ok. But most told us what they couldn't do .

Please do not send your loved ones to this facility. My grandfather was treated horribly without any remorse or apology even after we spoke to management regarding our issues. When he would press the call button to be assisted, they would ignore him for hours on end. They would leave his room filthy and the only reason it was cleaned was because management was contacted. Additionally, our family asked multiple times for updates on his progress and they could not even communicate basics with us regarding his care, progress, or expected departure. The facility was also severely understaffed. It is ironic for this company to claim they provide exceptional care, when he was treated horribly without any reason when he is sick and unable to care for himself.

I wish I could give Aspire Hoover zero stars. While the facility itself is absolutely beautiful and looks like it should be a top-tier care center, the actual care my dad received was horrendous. After spending a month in the hospital, my dad was almost immobile and needed a supportive, attentive environment to recover. We chose Aspire Hoover because we thought the level of care would match the appearance of the facility. Unfortunately, we couldn’t have been more wrong.

From the very beginning, it was clear that the staff lacked the compassion, professionalism, and dedication necessary to properly care for patients. My dad spent the majority of his time alone in his room with no engagement, no encouragement, and no meaningful interaction from staff. He was left to sit in silence day after day, which is devastating for anyone, let alone someone recovering from a serious health setback.

Physical therapy—one of the main reasons we chose this facility—was treated as an afterthought. The staff made little effort to encourage or push him to participate in therapy, even though it was critical for his recovery. Without proper support, he had no chance to regain his strength or mobility. It felt like they were just going through the motions, without any real concern for his progress or quality of life.

The neglect didn’t stop there. There were times when my dad was left sitting in his own urine for hours. This is not just unacceptable; it’s inhumane. No one should have to endure that kind of indignity, especially in a place that claims to provide professional care. It was clear to us that the staff’s priorities were not focused on the well-being of their patients.

Aspire Hoover is a prime example of a facility that invests in appearances rather than substance. While the building itself may be beautiful and give an initial impression of quality, the care provided behind those walls was far from adequate. The lack of compassion, professionalism, and basic human decency made my dad’s stay there a deeply disappointing and upsetting experience.

I cannot in good conscience recommend Aspire Hoover to anyone who values their loved one’s health, comfort, and dignity. Don’t let the stunning facility fool you—it does not reflect the level of care you or your family member will receive.

This is the most unprofessional facility I have EVER dealt with. My Mother-in-law was in there and I was threatened by Mrs.Bell she informed me that if I did not give them my mother-in-law SSI check that she would contact the Social Security office, Medicaid and Medicare and inform them that I was committing theft and fraud. I told them if i gave it to them she would have nowhere to go because i couldn't pay her rent, lights, water, etc. They said that ìt was not their problem they had to get paid for the service they did. I told them when we got the bill I would pay on it til it was paid off. They told me I had to pay them right then because I was over my her SSI check.I informed them i paid her rent, and other bills and offered what she had left every month 1 more time but that wasn't good enough. She kept haven to go back to the hospital and have surgeries over and over out of 3-4 months she was only there maybe 25 days. They were charging $203 a day. And as soon as i told them to discharge her, it took 7 extra days to get her discharged because of how lazy that facility is. But yet they want u to pay $203 a day for them 7 days they dragged their feet discharging her..I had to file every application to get my mother-in-laws medicaid to pay even tho i was told by the hospital caseworker that the rehab was suppose to handle all the forms. All they care about is getting cash they are so lazy they will not file the paperwork so ur insurance will pay. So after being threatened I contact Medicaid / Medicare and they tell me they are going back and paying any bill my mother-in-law had for the past 90 days including Aspire .They just had to wait for the application to come thru. I told Aspire that and that is when they really got upset and threatened a lien on anything Me & My Husband own. So i am trying to get ahold of anyone at the states office that can look into that facility and how it is being run and how they treat patients..IT'S VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. NO ONE COMMUNICATES WITH EACH OTHER. DO NOT SEND UR LOVED ONE THERE..Even the main gentleman is unprofessional. Does not call anyone back. My Mother-in-law was just released 3-4 days ago . We haven't even gotten a bill yet and they have threatened us..What kind of facility does that. Especially when all u got to do is do the paperwork and the insurance will pay u.But I am looking in to seeing if actions can be done to this facility for the threats and the 7 extra days it took to get her discharged because of them and what they didn't do.. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY LOVED ONE THERE PLEASE..
