I took my child here because the pictures seemed “child friendly.” It was the complete opposite of that. The waiting room had quite a few people clearly under the influence of drugs. Once we had an interaction with the doctor it was awful. I scheduled an appointment for a physical and to discuss concerns I had with my autistic son’s health. I was told no, this appointment was just to meet me.. weird. She proceeded to call my son a girl and believe he was a girl the entire appointment despite my son having a a 4 year old with a boy name, and if she had looked at his chart once she would realize he is a boy. She lifted his hair laughed and asked us if we thought he looked like a girl. As soon as she got into the room she needed to know me and my wife’s relation to the patient. He is biologically mine but what does it matter. Even the nurse didn’t believe my son was biologically mine and she refused to hear my family history since it didn’t relate to the child. 0/10 I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE. This is by far the worst experience I have EVER had at a doctors office. Gross behavior from an adult to mock a child laughing and calling them a girl the entire time we were there.

I went to my appointment and was told to leave after I did my urine sample keep in mind I am pregnant and it was hot outside and there was no one in the office only me . I was using the restroom and as I got out there was a nurse in front of the door judging me and asking me why I don’t have a primary doctor yet. I just moved to Modesto and been trying to get a primary since I got pregnant. It was very rude and selfish. Unprofessional and rude

This is the worst clinic I’ve ever seen in my life. I waited over 3 hours to be seen when I was the only one there it takes forever to get an appointment and when you do get an appointment, they don’t even check you correctly. The doctor had a really nasty attitude I do not recommend this place at all. It was a nightmare. I recently got bit by a spider, and they wanted me to wait over a month for an appointment to be seen.

I've been going to Aspen for many years now and they have never been disrespectful or rude. They care about their patients, especially Matt Freitas. He is always on top of getting the best treatments for his patients. In the middle of Covid, I needed a doctors appointment, and he was so quick to call me and discuss everything.

Dr Frietas has never treated us with dignity. He rudely ignored my concerns about my kid. I let go all of this in the past and I am never going here again. When I voiced my concern; he ignored it and did minimal tests and rushed our visit. He said my kid just had allergies without checking out any of my concerns such as; throat and the severity of the cough. Pushed it off as allergies even though my kid has had it for over a week. I take my kid to urgent care and find out she has bronchitis. I ignored your rudeness and inpatients before but this time I have proof and will be reporting Aspen with proof. I will no longer stand behind the scenes and let you mess with my family's health! This is NOT THE FIRST TIME ASPEN HAS BEEN DISRESPECTFUL AND PUSHY. They clearly want money over healthy families. I am not angry; I am disappointed with your doctors and staff for over 8 years and this was the last straw.

I lost my private insurance several months ago and due to the pandemic, I have had trouble finding an appointment to refill my prescriptions. I had a nightmare experience with another practice in town and so my insurance called Aspen to see if they could see me. They were able to provide me a phone appointment the same day. I had me prescriptions in hand within a few hours. They were so nice and accommodating. I would recommend them to anyone needing a new provider.

I've been going to the this clinic for 6 years, and they are a God sent for many reasons. I have limited income, and it's reasonable. The staff is always kind, informative, and helpful. Dr. Freitas always takes his time to answer my concerns, without making me feel rushed.
Walk in accepting until the pandemic. And in regards to this pandemic, they have continued to be very accommodating to our needs. Thank God for our essential front liners. Bless you!!!
