I've been a patient with this practice for quite awhile and I appreciate the care, and honesty, I receive from Ms Angle and the care team! They know their patients and they care about their health! I continue going because I need honest accountability, and encouragement, so I don't return to my 354 lbs! I didn't have the surgery; I wanted to try and do it myself with GOD'S GRACE and this practice and help! After 8 major operations since "2024" I have been encouraged and directed when I need to rest! Ms. Angle actually discovered I had health issues I wasn't aware of; thanks to my morbid obesity! A thorough exam and a scan and MRI detected cervical and lumbar issues that required attention! You never know what's going on with your own body and if you have concerns then come here! You get care and respect...now...send me questionnaires about other practices in my medical records... I could give you some interesting information..BTW...let Neurosurgery know, after 3 contacts with them, I never got that referral! Send me a questionnaire about them... I'd love to explain why Baptist Hospital will be the hospital I choose to have my next cervical/lumbar surgery!

My doctor completely invalidated my chronic pain that I have been going through for months. She told me my only options were to “stretch or cut.” When I mentioned how the urgent care doctors suggested the chronic severe pain in my back could be due to a vitamin deficiency, the doctor told me “it’s impossible to get a vitamin deficiency in America”. I asked if she’d like to see my x-rays and the doctor said “don’t bother.” She then asked about my anxiety and how that was doing. I explained to her it was not going good and I talked to her about a medicine I was recommended and she said she didn’t think it existed, and that blood thinner medicine does not help with anxiety…NOT TRUE. I waited in 6 months of pain, thinking I was going to die or sometimes wanting to, only to receive no answers, no tests, no checkup, no solutions, no referrals. Nothing.

Our experience has been filled with disorganization and carelessness in handling my spouses referrals and medication management. The incompetence coupled with the lack of communication had made getting quality care relatively difficult. Staff needs to be better trained and the physicians should be staying on top of their case management. I should not have to chase the referral team and be told inaccurate or differing information each time we call. You’re doing patients a disservice and it is neglectful to cause lapses in care because staff cannot properly fill out paperwork or do so in a timely fashion.
