The Emergency Room Staff was SPECTACULAR! Stacy Montgomery was my nurse during my stay and Olivia was as well and they were very professional and friendly to make sure that I was treated quickly and efficiently. My doctor explained my condition and assured me that I would be ok! I highly recommend this hospital and always had a pleasant experience going here!

This hospital was incompetent and dishonest with us at our last visit. Upon arrival, we let the front desk know we came for a child brain scan and blood work per our doctor’s request. They did vitals in the side lobby room and a strep test. We asked one of the lobby nurses about the specific testing we had come for. He said when we see the doctor in the back they are the ones that would order testing. Around 3 hrs later we got called to the back and when we told the nurse what we were there for, she said “Oh we don’t have pediatric neuro here. You’ll have to go to Pensacola for that.” We were in shock and told them we would be leaving as we had specifically come for the requested tests that we had asked for upon arrival. They then sent us a bill for a full ER visit when we never even saw a doctor. We have appealed to their complaint service several times and gotten absolutely nowhere. We would have left upon arrival and drove to Pensacola if they had divulged that info upon check in or by one of the lobby nurses. The next time our son experienced a similar episode, we drove further to the Ft. Walton hospital and it was a smooth easy process and they did all the proper testing right away. We were beyond disappointed with Sacred Heart and hope that they will choose honesty over stealing money and time from customers in the future.

Everyone was amazing my nurse kept checking on me to see if I needed anything. The CT scan tech was very nice and friendly..After my exam and everything they explained everything to me and answered all my questions. Also my discharge papers had everything they did from my blood work to the CT scan. I will definitely be returning it's worth the drive from fort Walton.

Arrived with an injury that prevented me from walking and the front desk immediately provided a wheelchair. Very friendly staff who made a great effort to answer questions and provide updates in a busy emergency room. Everyone was professional and considerate.
I want to especially recognize my nurse, Katie who demonstrated exceptional care and compassion. She checked on me often and answered all my questions. I was unable to help myself and she assisted me. I also became very sick from the pain and she stayed with me and assured me. She bought me a bottle of water to take home. I can’t thank her enough for her genuine and sincere kindness to me. Katie is an exceptional nurse and person.

Nurse was great and check in was easy and fast.
A person came in and did x-rays of my leg. She had me move down the bed to get them. After she left I slide farther down. My back started to hurt. I pushed the call button and the individual said they were busy and would get there when they could. My pain increased and I pushed the button again. Was told they would be there shortly. I waited and the pain increased. I pushed the button again and no answer. A nurse walking by saw me hanging off the bed came in helped me, she was great. Calling 3 times in unacceptable...

Getting greeted with a smile and great attitude what great as usual, Even the person that attended to him and the doctor where caring and on top of all the procedures. As usual it was a great experience. We appreciate the hospitality and have the utmost respect and trust in them. My husband and I hav been patient there and have always had great experience. I was there this week due to awful food poisoning from sushi over our spring break…The male nurse was very rough and not gentle when handling me to deliver IV port. I was extremely weak and couldn’t stop vomiting, on the verge of passing out, severely dehydrated. It took almost an hour to receive fluids and meds after receiving the port. I was just left in a room down a hall with no one checking on me for almost an hour. I had to get my husband to call the front desk to get through to someone to please hook up IV fluid bags and give anti vomiting meds. I was told they were going to give me two bags of fluid, they only gave me one and pulled out my port. Once discharged, nurse was loud and abrupt and not patient at all. It has taken me several days to feel somewhat normal again. Just a bad experience overall.

From the moment I walked into the emergency room to leaving after treatment, everyone was amazing!! I was greeted with smiling faces, and I was taken care of by the best of staff. I wish all hospitals could have people this great.
