If you’re looking for the perfect place to deliver your baby, look no further!! I cannot recommend this place enough. The entire staff treat you so well and take such great care of you and your baby, and they even make sure your spouse is good & comfortable as well. I’m so glad that I chose to give birth here. It was an amazing experience with wonderful & kind staff all around.

I just had my first baby here this week. I was so anxious about the whole experience, but it ended up being completely amazing. The entire staff here made me feel so at home and comfortable, from coaching me through labor and delivery to our postpartum stay and discharge. All of the nurses went above and beyond to make sure baby and I were both taken care of, and everyone was so kind and genuinely seemed happy to be there and like they loved that they did. Shout out to Amanda, Ashley and Annah, and one more nurse that I feel terrible I can’t remember her name- she was my nurse through the end of my labor and delivery so there was a lot going on but she was incredible too. Big big thank you to all of you!! Dr sledge & Dr whitlock delivered my baby and took great care of us both, literally 10/10. Thank you ascension for such a beautiful and positive birth experience.

Each and every person we interacted with was so pleasant. They took excellent care of my wife, offered so much support for both of us and answered every question. You can tell these people love what they do and take pride in their work. Specifically, Dr. Bakker and Nurses Rachel, Jordan, Emma and Michele.

Drove an hour from Fort Walton for every single appointment and for the birth and it was absolutely worth it. Thank you for helping us bring our baby boy into the world.

I don’t do reviews but Every person really went above and beyond during my entire pregnancy. They answered every question and concern with no hesitation and detail. A very special thank you to Marissa who helped the entire labor and delivery as as well as Jill. A special thank you to ,elivia, Ashley and my lactation consultant in postpartum , you guys really made recovery so much easier and were amazing. I cannot say enough good things about the entire team I had.

My experience giving birth as a first time mom in this facility was remarkable. My L&D and postpartum nurses took very good care of me. Shoutout to Peyton, Tabitha and Michelle who made sure that I am comfortable during the whole process and well informed of what’s going on. They are dedicated and compassionate nurses and they truly deserve recognition.

For my doctors, I was seeing Dr Jones for my pregnancy visits but Dr Sledge delivered my baby. Dr Jones is a wonderful physician. She is knowledgeable and precise. Dr Sledge on the other hand, is very professional and calm. They made sure that my baby was delivered safe.

Lastly, for my NICU nurses, I’d like to thank Gabby and Candace for taking good care of my baby. They went above and beyond and are very caring nurses. Thank you also to Dr Kumar for helping my baby and giving us assurance that everything will be alright.

My only complaint is that they had me and my husband’s name wrong on our daughter’s birth certificate. Angie, one of the office staff, apologized for the inconvenience this has caused us and helped me with the process of amending the record.

Overall, we will be forever grateful for the professionalism and expertise the staff showed in this hospital.

Great doctors and nurses…everyone was so nice and made my birthing experience a comfortable one. Grateful for Dr. Bakker, Dr. Tatum and everyone in between. The nurses are everything. Dr. Sledge was my OB throughout my prenatal visits and he also was great. Couldn’t have asked for a better team. I can absolutely tell you I had a great stay and I missed being there after I left.
P.S. The food service was also great, the hospitality in general; 10/10. This would definitely be my place of choice to give birth again.

Listen, giving birth is awful and the most horrendous pain of your life. That being said, every single person I interacted with was so wonderful—I couldn’t have better things to say about them. Specific shoutouts to my nurses Kayla and Rebekah who are magical unicorns. These ladies put me so at ease, were genuinely concerned with my comfort and checked on me so often. They were so kind and took such great care of me through the hell that is laboring. I honestly think Rebekah’s soul was baptized in angel tears she is the sweetest human. It was her first day back from her own maternity leave and and I felt such a bond with her because she had JUST been in my position. I appreciate my nurses so much and I wish I could better convey how they transformed my experience for the better. Kayla and Rebekah—you’re the real MVP’s! Thank you so much

15/10…amazing facility to have a baby at! The staff truly care about your experience, health and you and your baby. Chelsey was our nurse in delivery and postpartum and she was AMAZING! Truly went above and beyond and you can tell she loves what she does. Dr. Whitlok delivered our baby and we had Dr. Sledge for pregnancy visits. Both of these doctors are wonderful! I would not want to have a baby anywhere else. Even the food made us feel like we were on vacation, it was really good. If you are looking for where to give birth, go here!
