I visited the ER in PCB and told them exactly where I was hurting and how bad. Dr Finn(?) ordered a CT scan and told me I had a kidney stone. Well, I never passed a kidney stone but got worse everyday. I went back a week later. Dr Bradwell was there. He never checked the area where I was hurting, didn't even listen to my heart or lungs. He stepped into the room and never took more than two steps inside the door. Asked me what my pain level was from 1-10 and I told him an 11! He ordered another CT scan, bloodwork and a urine test. Two hours later, he said he couldn't find anything wrong with me and sent me home with gas medicine.!?! The next day I went to the hospital in Bay County and they ran yet another CT scan and ultrasound and said I had a UTI. Now, I didn't have a UTI the day before, but now I do They put me on some RX and sent me home. A week later I was hurting so bad I couldn't walk and ended up going to the ER at HCA. They immediately ran an EKG, blood work, a contrast CT scan, urine test (I had no UTI), an ultrasound, and MRI. The Dr did a physical check of me and listened to my symptoms and took the time to run the right tests. The ultrasound showed a large polyp on my gallbladder (Ascension missed it) and I was admitted that same day. I had surgery the next afternoon and I now am getting back to my old self with no pain! The ER in PCB made me feel like they didn't care about me nor my well being. I had to suffer another two weeks due to their negligence.
No one should ever be sent home in the pain I was in and tell me nothing was wrong with me!! They delayed my recovery, made me suffer longer, and caused my medical costs to go even higher. My anxiety was over the moon. I hope the hospital execs read this and know they have a problem with three ER visits misdiagnosis. BTW: My name is changed on here.

I had what was expected to be routine out patient surgery with some small complications which landed me in the ICU for 2 nights. All of my nurses were phenomenal. Jackson & Peyton took exceptional care of me. They gentle, friendly, knowledgeable and caring. AddiLynn and Sandy were with me only a few hours before discharge but also excellent .

Kim was very helpful helping me fill in the check in process. Angel to come out of her office to assist me. As I proceeded through the checking and preparing for my surgery everyone was knowledgeable and efficient. Always pleasant. Able to answer my questions. Kept my waiting family informed. I would give a rating 10 of 1 to 10. Would be happy to recommend Sacred Heart.

I went to ER because I needed assistance with shortness of breath and hypoxia.
Showed up with a low sat, pulse ox for documentation. Assisted with care within minutes. Had a procedure done here last year, knew I was in the system.
ER staff was excellent. Testing departments were respectful and supportive. Visited several.
Large quiet room on 5N. As a retired RN appreciated the respect of nursing staff, med techs, lab techs.
Loved the Hospitalist, took time and care addressing current, prior, and concerns for future.
Still a ways to go to my perfect, thanks for the opportunity to share my bad day to a better day.
Chef salad was delicious, my favorite meal.

My mother-in-law fell and broke her hip on Saturday 3/15, today 3/25 she has yet to be placed into a facility. It's not the facilities fault, they are ready for her but the case manager and her doctor are dragging their feet. We are from Tennessee and we were supposed to go home on Saturday 3/22 so again we have to get another hotel room for the night, just because people are dragging ass. Beyond pissed at this point. The nurses and CNAs have been wonderful though.

Housekeeping Managers do not care about the patients. I was standing outside of my sister’s room and I saw a young man go into the neighboring room. I heard him ask if he could use a machine to shine the floor. The machine was so loud, and kicked up dust. When the man was finished, he explained to the patient that he was asked to do this by the director of housekeeping because of an upcoming inspection and normally wouldn’t disturb a patient trying to recover. The number one concern for any hospital employee should be the patients rest and recovery.

The nurses were absolutely amazing to me, they did everything that they could to make me feel as comfortable as possible. They are woefully understaffed. It is dangerous if I hit a call button it shouldn't take 3 or minutes for someone to answer and then 15 minutes to an hour sometimes for an over worked to nurse to come help me. I saw my surgical team 2 times in a week, I expected more given the severity of my procedure. When I went to schedule a follow up I was told that I had to see my primary care physician first? I'm already a patient with doctor dysilva this makes zero sense. I already had a bad taste in my mouth about this hospital when you left my wife sitting in the waiting room for 5 hours with a brain bleed and no CT scan throwing up on herself. Now I see you really need to do better. Get more nurses, pay them better and treat them better because the ones working with me were Rockstars. Minus the one that put my IV in upside down, that was a little concerning. Do better.
