Great experience all around for my special needs daughter. Staff doing prelim testing were so patient, kind and skilled and doctor was fabulous--taking the necessary time to work with my daughter to get the prescription right (which can be difficult due to her disabilities) and thoroughly check her eye and vision health. Thankful to have found Arkansas Vision Dev Center to meet our complicated vision needs!

Amazing staff and doctor! Melody was an awesome and knowledgeable vision therapist. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who has had a traumatic brain injury or chronic migraines. Dr. Vaughn was very thorough and took a lot of time to perfect my prescription. I received better treatment here than at Children’s Mercy in Kansas City. Wish I had known about it sooner 🙂

This is the best vision care center around. We have never had care like this anywhere. From routine care to the most complex care, this is the place to go. You won’t find a a better team that is more caring, thorough, thoughtful, professional, and kind. Dr Vaughn, Dr K, and Dr Ber are the best eye doctors you’ll ever find. I have never worked with a group more understanding and caring. From the front office, to therapy, lab, and more, promise you’ll be in the best hands. Ever. Especially if you need any vision therapy services, those girls know exactly what they are doing!!! If you are need of any vision care and services, you have found the right place!

To save you a lot of grief, do not use arkansas Vision. The staff working with the kids are wonderful but whoever is in charge of billing and insurance has no idea what they are doing and lie straight to your face. Make sure you get everything in writing because we went numerous times being told we didn’t owe even a copayment and now they want almost $1000 because they didn’t file something correctly with insurance. Our only saving grace is all the documentation we have from insurance that we were also working on at the same time they were supposed to be.

AVDC is the BEST! My daughter enjoys going to her therapy appointments and it has improved her eyes. The therapist are always helpful in answering any of my questions and working with our schedule. The optometrist are top notch in helping decide what is best for us to improve our vision.

Dr Vaughn is AMAZING!! Highly recommend this office! I have seen different Optometric for 50 years. Dr Vaughn IS THE BEST! She provided us with more information than anyone else ever has!

Dr. Vaughn refused to provide treatment to the children really need with parents who work hard and do not qualify for state assistance but who do qualify for full payment from the Indians. A child is going without care all because Dr Vaughn doesn’t want to allow the payment from another source that is a guaranteed payment. A child will now be left behind and go without treatment thanks to Dr Vaughn and her lack of compassion for her patients.
