I became employed with AMS just a few months ago. I work for another agency, but needed a few more hours during the summer before I return to school to obtain my RN degree. I knew this was a different kind of employer before I was ever hired. At my interview, the staff gathered in the reception area to pray for a nurse that had an ill child in the hospital. The staff told me their employees were their family. They have prayed for me and my family (my anxiety of returning to school, a cancer diagnosis in our family, and more). I feel the prayers even when I don’t ask for them. They are super supportive and encouraging. It isn’t just about a “warm body” in a facility. I have been blessed to work at the Vet Homes in NLR through AMS. It has been such an honor to serve those who served our great country and/or their spouses.
