Probably the best experience I've had with any company when it comes to medical supplies or anything like that. They called me and the woman was extremely nice on the phone and she took the time to explain everything to me in detail, and after confirming my address, the whole CPAP machine and all the necessary equipment arrived to my front door in 48 hours! They are extremely pleasant to talk to and super helpful. Everything arrived in perfect condition, and I had absolutely no issue with any part of the process. I am so thankful to Apria and I wish I got the woman's name who I spoke to on the phone because she deserves a shout-out! Excellent customer service and excellent business practice. Would go to them again for sure!

I’m having the same billing and insurance issues as other reviewers. I repeatedly get phone calls to provide my insurance information although I’ve received supplies twice and my insurance hasn’t changed. But every supply is the same runaround log them saying I have some insurance that I’ve never had and having to repeatedly give them my correct insurance. And I’ve just now discovered a $1000 charge on my credit card as apparently they didn’t bill my insurance this time. Trying to discuss this with Customer Service is a nightmare as the accents are so thick I have to repeatedly ask them to repeat themselves to decipher what they are saying. Who has time to spend hours on the phone every time you need supplies refilled?

Update: I was finally able to speak to someone who, after I insisted/instructed them multiple times to read to me the denial letter from my insurance, was FINALLY able to determine that they had transposed letters in my insurance number which resulted in the claim being denied. They stated that because my credit card had already been charged but they had not received the payment, that the only way to get my money back (the money that they billed my credit card for and are now billing my insurance for) is to file a dispute for the charges with my credit card company. It turns out that that process takes several weeks. So, perhaps someday I will get my money back from being incorrectly charged due to Apria's mistake in entering my insurance information.

First of all the machine is very quiet. I have been using the machine for four days. I had no problem wearing the nasal mask throughout the night. I did noticed on waking on the third day my nose seemed to be irritated. In looking further, I noticed that I had wounds on the bridge of my nose. After placing a bandage over the bridge of my nose, I decided to switch from a medium to the large nose cover. I got a noticed from the company this morning that more air had been escaping than normal. I guess I need to play around more to find the right fit.

Horrible customer service from Apria in Philippines and local office. I’ve received several bills since Feb for cpap supplies which are completely covered by my Medicare provider. Somehow Apria has my wrong id. Sometimes the right id. My insurance provider has called Apria billing 3 times. Still no luck. Yesterday I was on the phone 3x for 1.5 hours going over and over the same issue. 2 people had my right id 2 didn’t. Was referred to a senior billing specialist who actually was not and told me my durable equipment wasn’t covered. It is. I don’t know what to do. This has been calls on 5 different occasions. I called the local Tuscon office because I’m also being billed for a new nebulizer and again the wrong account number is on my records so the nebulizer insurance payment is being rejected. When I went to Tucson office to pick up my nebulizer, I gave them my insurance card with the right info how the wrong info is being billed is beyond me. This is insane. The customer service reps overseas are not capable of handling simple problems, my next step is go to Medicare fraud and the Better Business Bureau

Just began with this Oxygen provider, second week. Reordered today for Monday delivery here in zip 85755. First delivery last week included a highflown concentrator, a large tank for backup in emergency, and the tanks (D & E) that I had ordered.
The driver was helpful bring the concentrator upstairs & getting it connected, he brought the "old" concentrator downstairs, and he brought up the giant tank. He instructed me in the use & care of the concentrator & was generally helpful and respectful.
Ordering is a breeze that included not extreme hold time. Those operators are also wonderful. Pleasure to have changed to Apria from a very stressful situation with the prior O2 supplier.

When I was prescribed a CPAP machine they just shipped the equipment without asking me to come to the office for a mask fit. They sent me the wrong size mask so I had to wait 2 weeks before I could start CPAP therapy. After I completed the Medicare certification I had my Pulmonologist write me a script for another DME for my supplies. My new provider Lincare called me to have a mask fit before ordering my resupply order.

Update: If you need a CPAP machine do not
use Apria as the DME. I had to exchange my unit due to a noisy blower and I was treated like common criminal when I saw the clinician at Apria. They insisted there was nothing wrong with the unit even though I had Altra Service confirm that it was a blower problem. I was able to get it exchanged but someone at Apria HQ needs to train the staff on how to work with customers.

Apria did a good job of making me informed of the process of getting my CPAP machine. I received the device quickly. They offer support and advice for the future. I would recommend Apria.
