I want to give a SHOUT OUT to: TO EACH AND EVERY EXPERIENCED Facilitator who has been apart of my journey into "re-discovery" of finding peace.
Since the beginning with (as far as I can remember)-
Dr. Chou from Augustus Hawkins mental health all the way to presently overseeing my mental health- Ms. Sharon, my therapist. Thank you for being apart of the transition from substance use & unemployed homelessness to SPA instability and transfers throughout LA COUNTY- to being a victim OF gun violence, etc.
Thank you for changing my life at my own pace by just being there to listen to me.

I have had a great experience here. My therapist here is very kind, caring and understanding. She has helped me so much and in so many ways. This place has honestly turned my life around for the better. I feel as if I can’t give them enough credit.

This place is a great place to get help. I used to come from Downtown Los Angeles to get help here.

Dr Contreras is a great doctor and not a pill pusher like other DMS locations. Maria is also wonderful social work/ therapist she helps her clients.

Just be honest with this medical team. There director is of this location is a wonderful women. She really runs a phenomenal locations.

The one stars come from clients who are do not follow protocols.

From the front desk to therapist, case managers and doctors this place deserves 5 stars.

Very unprofessional.
1. Doctors are always late.
2. About a month ago, I had an appointment with my therapist, and it was a hidden number so I ignored it. I called to let the office know and she never called back.

Ive been going there since 1998. Every time i get a doctor they loose them and give me a new one. Finally got one i like and am comfortable to tell him what my mind goes through. I called in feb said my anxiety and depressions so bad its a struggle to move and feels like im going to die from it. Yet cant get in intil july now. My anxiety attacks are so bad my blood pressure is dangerously high. My chest gets so tight i get chest pain where its hard to breath and feels like my hearts beating out of my chest. My doc has me on 3 blood pressure meds trying to lower it. Every time it gets normal anxiety atracks raise it to stage 3. I need mental health help. It causes me to get even more depressed because it makes me feel like im going to die. Ive went to er so many times thinking im having a heart attack to be sent home being told its just anxiety attacks. They did all kinds of heart tests i dont have blockages or nothing. Its all due to anxiety. I suffer from this on a daily basis. No one should have to suffer this way. Bipolar and anxiety disorders are horrible. Those that dont suffer with it have no clue what we go through

Poor excuse for a mental health office.. Doctors read from a script and are clueless to real live situations, behaviors, and personalities. We wonder why so many people skip this place and hit the streets,,, problems begin here... Avoid
