I have been a patient of Andrew's Sports Medicine for ten years. I've had two spine surgeries, and my physician retired a few years ago. Once I started experiencing pain again above my surgery site, I called and asked to be referred to another physician there. I got in with Dr. Daniel Kim and had my first appointment yesterday with him. He is very friendly, engaging, and has a great bedside manner. He also knows his stuff! He spent plenty of time reviewing my records and explained the next steps well. I can say with confidence that I would highly recommend him to anyone. Thankful that I got him, by the luck of the draw!

If I had to sum up my experience in one word, it would be efficient. I submitted my online form to request an appointment, was called less than 24h later and offered an appointment 2 days later. I arrived to my appointment early and completed check in via kiosk with ease. I then completed paperwork via iPad and waited for an extremely short period of time before being taken back for an xray. Every single person I encountered was friendly, inviting and professional.
As a first time patient, I was in and out in 42 minutes (check in, patient history/paperwork, waiting room, X-rays, PA assessment, Physician assessment). My case was simple, but there’s no denying they run a well oiled machine at this facility! I highly recommend.

Dr. Daniel Kim did amazing work on my back. I had been to several doctors from Montgomery to UAB and no one was able to offer any help from a failed previous back surgery, I had no curve in my Lumbar and my ribs were touching my pelvis, my spine was an “S” shape. Dr. Kim looked at my MRIs and said he could fix my back. It was the first glimmer of hope I had I’m eight years. He performed four surgeries on two days with a day in between for me to rest and three months post surgeries and I am standing straight, I have a lower Lumbar curve and I feel like a person again. I feel like Dr. Kim gave me 10 years of my life back.
I would recommend Dr. Daniel Kim to anyone that needs back surgery, he truly cares about his patients and plans the best treatment for them.

Dr.Daniel Kim and his staff are awesome! Very professional and respectful!! My first visit I was in so much pain I couldn't sit,sleep,stand,or walk ! After my surgery that Dr.Kim and his staff performed on me I feel like a healthy human again my pain is all gone just like a miracle just happened to me now I can do anything I want again and no pain!!! Thank you Dr.Kim and your staff for bringing me back to normal again!!!
